Home: Welcome ABOUT US PAWRA & PALS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2016 STARTING WITH PROFESSIONAL DOG GROOMING. WE OWN 3 DOGS, WINSTON A GERMAN SHEPHERD (ABOVE), SYLAR ALSO A GERMAN SHEPHERD AND VIXEY A POMERANIAN CROSS. WE DID HAVE OUR 4TH DOG, RITA PAWRA. I'M SURE YOU CAN CLICK ON THAT OUR BUSINESS IS NAMED AFTER HER, WE SADLY LOST HER IN FEB 23' AND SHE IS THE REASON THIS BUSINESS STARTED IN 2016. HER LEGACY WILL LIVE ON THROUGH OUR BUSINESS. Home: Services WHO'S THE PET CARE PROVIDER? That would be Damian! This is Damian, aged 34. He joined forces officially in April 23' offering pet care services across Wirral. He has been helping behind the scenes with dog grooming and has always had a passion for animal welfare. He decided to take a step back from his full time job to help us expand in offering additional services such as dog walking, pet sitting, pet pop-ins and pet taxi. He is always thriving to expand his knowledge and is doing additional training by attending an IMDT course in dog behaviour to help understand dogs body language to the best of his ability to ensure the safety of all the dogs he cares for. (Please note, this is not to offer dog training as an additional service, it is purely for us to have a better understanding of a dogs behaviour). We have a VW Caddy with crash tested safety cages for safe travel for our dog walking and pet taxi clients. He is DBS checked, fully insured and canine first aid trained. Home: About WHO'S THE GROOMER? That would be Gemma! This is Gemma, aged 32. She's been dog grooming for 11 years, she has studied animal management from the age of 17 and only ever worked as a dog groomer. She has been passionate about animals from a very young age and knew she wanted to work within the animal industry. She holds a level 3 national qualification with animal first aid so that she can provide you with the best possible service. She is always thriving to improve her skills and get your dogs looking their absolute best! Home: About PET TAXI Don't stress, we can help! Our pet taxi service can be a lifeline for some customers. We can provide travel to the vets for important appointments or just general check ups! We can drop off or collect your dogs from kennels or daycare. General A-B travel Getting married and would like your dog to appear in time for pictures? We can offer our wedding chaperone service, we will accommodate your dog to and from the venue and look after them whilst we are there. We do not walk more than 4 dogs at any one time, this is for safety reasons as we like to have full attention of the dogs in our care. We offer solo 1-1 walks for those who prefer or require a quieter life (don't we all sometimes?!) We also have some buddy walk options available should they not require a busy group walk but a more relaxed walk with a little company! Group walks are for well behaved, trained dogs with recall. We are currently trying to build these groups up. We do have an option to use secure fields which we are looking into for some safe off lead fun! Solo Walks - £15.00 Buddy Walks - £12.50 Group Walks - £12.50 50% discount for 2nd dog from same household Home: About PET POP-INS Reassurance is key! Full day at work? Family day out? You can rely on us to check in on your furry friends, dogs, cats, rodents etc.. We can provide that reassurance and supply that company for your furry companions while you aren't in. Puppy pop-ins We can be on hand to let them out for the toilet, change over any puppy pads, top up water, feed breakfast, lunch or dinner and of course the most important, play time! £8 for 30 minutes £10 for 40 minutes Home: About SHEPHERDS PAW-TREAT 100% Natural Treats Did you know we stock 100% natural goodies?! All things from furry rabbit ears (great natural dewormer) to dried chicken feet (great for joints) the list is endless and the health benefits are something else! Treats to suit all Home: About DOG GROOMING one to one appointments We offer one to one grooming sessions from our bespoke cabin at home in Leasowe. We only work on a one to one basis so that we can maintain our calm and relaxing environment we strive for! This setting is the perfect solution for those dogs who are anxious and cope better in a quieter environment. Gemma has been in the animal industry for many years and has been dog grooming for 11 years. She holds a level 3 recognised qualification and is trained in animal first aid. Puppy Grooms Puppies are of course absolutely welcome, the sooner the better! As soon as they have had their last puppy jabs they can have a groom one week after the last jab. It is detrimental that puppies get used to the grooming process, especially high maintenance breeds such as Cockapoos, Shih Tzus, Bichons etc. Puppy introductions start from £30.
