ABOUT US

UAP Ltd is situated in North Manchester (conveniently located right next to the
M60 motorway and the A56) and we have an unrivalled reputation for product
excellence, innovation and quality. We are a leading door hardware supplier in
the UK and working in conjunction with highly-regarded and respected
manufacturers in order to guarantee that every piece of merchandise is of a
superior standard.

From standard, everyday stocked items, right through to completely original
bespoke products, UAP Limited can offer you a diverse and broad reaching
collection of door hardware, which caters for a multitude of purposes. Customers
will always receive a professional level of service every step of the way, as
our team will do everything in our power to guarantee 100% consumer satisfaction
every time.

We test all our products to the highest and latest standards, and we have been
awarded Secured by Design and BSi Kitemark accreditation for a majority of
our security product ranges, helping them to pass Document Q standards. We also
have a large range of 1 hour and 30 minute fire rated hardware, including
Certifire accredited products which use our specially designed heat absorbers.

In 2016 UAP took over Fullex Locks, one of the oldest manufacturers of multi
point locks. We can now offer a full range of MPLs for PVCu, timbers and
composite doors, including the famous Fullex Crimebeater. Other locks include
patio door locks, which go perfectly with the UAP patio door handle, as well as
the Gemini double door lock and the Exodus panic exit system.

If you have any pressing queries or want to find out more about our services
then get in touch with us today.

alternative means, e.g. by telephone.

2. DEFINITIONS

adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our data protection

compliance with the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes
of the processing.

(i) Third party

4. COOKIES

Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an Internet
browser.

Many Internet sites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a cookie ID,
which is the unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a character string
through which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific
Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This allows visited Internet
sites and servers to differentiate the individual browser of the data subject
from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific Internet
browser can be recognised and identified using the unique cookie ID.

Through the use of cookies, UAP can provide the users of our websites with more
user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.

By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimized
with the user in mind. Cookies allow us, as previously mentioned, to recognise
our website users. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for
users to utilise our websites. The website user that uses cookies may not have
to enter access data each time the website is accessed, because this is taken
over by the website and the cookie is stored on the user’s computer system.

The data subject may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies through our
website by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and
may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set
cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software
programs. This is possible in most Internet browsers. If the data subject
deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all
functions of our website may be entirely usable.

5. COLLECTION OF GENERAL DATA

Our websites collect a series of general data and information, when a data
subject or an automated system calls up the website.

This general data and information are stored in the log files of the server.
Collected data may include:

(a) the browser types and versions used
(b) the operating system used by the accessing system
(c) any language preferences you may have
(d) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called
referrers)
(e) the sub-websites, which are controlled by an accessing system on our website
(f) the date and time of access to the Internet site
(g) an Internet protocol address (IP address)
(h) the Internet service provider of the accessing system
(i) any other similar data and information that may be used in the event of
attacks on our information technology systems.

When using these general data and information, UAP does not draw any conclusions
about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to:

(a) deliver the content of our website correctly
(b) optimise the content of our website as well as its advertisement
(c) ensure the long-term viability of our information technology systems and the
technology of our website
(d) provide the law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for
criminal prosecution in case of a cyber-attack

Therefore, UAP analyses these anonymously collected data and information, on one
hand, statistically and besides with the aim of increasing the data protection
and data security of our enterprise and, ultimately, to ensure an optimal level
of protection for the personal data processed by us. The anonymous data of the
server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data
subject.

6. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The data subject has the possibility to register on the website of the data
controller with the provisions of personal data. Which personal data is
transmitted to the data controller is determined by the respective input mask
used for the registration.

By registering on the website of the data controller, the IP address assigned by
the Internet service provider (ISP) and used by the data subject, date and time
of the registration are also stored. The storage of this data takes place in the
background as this is the only way to prevent the misuse of our services and, if
necessary, to make it possible to investigate committed offenses. Insofar, the
storage of this data is necessary to secure the data controller. This data is
not passed on to third parties, unless there is a statutory obligation to pass
on the data or the transfer serves the aim of the criminal prosecution.

The controller shall at any time provide information on the request to each data
subject as to what personal data are stored about the data subject. In addition,
the data controller shall rectify or erase personal data on the request or at
indication of the data subject, insofar as there are no statutory storage
obligations. A data protection officer particularly designated in this data
protection declaration and the entirety of the employees of the controller are
available to the data subject in this respect as contact persons.

corporate group, our partners, or others that we use to make our own information
better or more useful. This might be aggregate level information, such as which
IP addresses go with which postcodes, or it might be more specific information,
such as about how well an online marketing or email campaign performed, which
also includes information on how you interacted with the email and any links you
clicked on.

7. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The personal data entered by the data subject are collected and stored
exclusively for internal use by UAP and for our own purposes. We, the data
controller may request the transfer of personal data to one or more processors,

shall have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data
concerning them for such marketing. This applies to profiling to the extent that
it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to UAP to
the processing for direct marketing purposes, UAP will no longer process the
personal data for these purposes.

The data subject has the right, on grounds relating to his or her particular
situation, to object to processing of personal data concerning them by UAP for
scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes, unless the
processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of
public interest.

society services, to use their right to object by automated means using
technical specifications.
