CUSTOMER SUCCESS PROGRAM MANAGER (ACTON, MA)

Founded in 2013, Sparx Hockey is a privately held corporation located just
outside of Boston in Acton, Massachusetts. Sparx Hockey is a developer and
manufacturer of skate sharpening equipment and related accessories for ice
hockey, figure skating and sled hockey. The Sparx Sharpener, the company’s
flagship product, is an affordable, automated product that allows anyone,
anywhere, with no prior skate sharpening experience, to easily sharpen hockey
and figure skates with pro-level accuracy. Thousands of customers in the U.S.
and Canada are currently sharpening their skates with Sparx, including
individuals, families, teams, rink operators and pro shops. The company is

About the role: 

Sparx Hockey is looking for an experienced Customer Success Program Manager to
assist in developing the Sparx Hockey Customer Success Program.  In this role,
you will be responsible for the development and architecture of a comprehensive
program that encompasses all aspects of customer support activities at Sparx
Hockey, including customer service, technical support, and product repair.
You’ll be tasked with aiding a company-wide initiative to move these related
functions into one cohesive stand-alone program. As the Customer Success
Manager, you will be an important member of the Sparx Hockey team, helping to
maintain Customer Success as a key pillar of our future.  

 

Responsibilities:  
 

 * Define, develop and oversee the Sparx Hockey Customer Success Program across
   multiple regions, including the U.S., Canada and Europe 
 * Identify and implement necessary technology solutions that allows for the
   tracking of data and analytics to ensure the effectiveness of the Customer
   Success Program 
 * Create and implement scalability solutions for customer support functions
   during peak traffic times throughout the year 
 * Develop and refine program processes including documentation creation,
   training, managing implementation, and adjusting processes as needed  
 * Analyze all relevant data (customer inquiries, RMAs, inbound and outbound
   communication) to refine and improve the Customer Success Program 
 * Work closely with various internal stakeholders including marketing,
   operations, product development, and quality control 
 * Develop solutions to ensure current and potential customer’s questions,
   comments, complaints are monitored and addressed via multiple communication
   channels including email, phone, social media channels and forums. Work
   closely with Sparx Hockey Ambassadors to leverage existing customer advocacy
   and brand awareness. 
 * Provide feedback and insight from the customer to internal teams  
 * Drive a customer-centric culture  
 * Empower other team members at Sparx Hockey to improve the customer experience
   by providing necessary resources and trainings, and ensure all interactions
   with the Sparx brand are positive 

 

Qualifications:  
 

 * Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in Customer Success, Customer
   Support, Sales, Corporate Communications, Business Development or Account
   Management or related field. 
 * Experience in developing and implementing complex processes encompassing
   multiple departments across various regions 
 * Strong history of utilizing data and analytics to inform and make decisions  
 * Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize appropriately, set
   and adhere to agreed-upon timelines, and proactively communicate status
   updates 
 * Proven experience building strong customer relationships and efficiently
   communicating internal and external voices 
 * Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills, with the ability
   to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical customers  
 * Strategy and organizational skills – ability to turn interrelated tasks that
   are not harmonized into one streamlined flow and process 
 * Previous experience growing, scaling, training and supervising a customer
   support team 
 * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel  
 * Database Experience
