to have joined forces with the utterly brilliant chef Ellie Ledden of The
Forgotten Cuts Company , nd author & TV presenter @kategbradbury (Springwatch;
Gardeners’ World; Knepp ambassador) to help raise funds for the food education
charity the @prept.foundation - inspiring a new generation through food to live
happier, healthier lives. Chef Ellie Ledden @forgottencutschef will be cooking
for you using the incredible produce of the Knepp Estate @kneppwilding,
carefully managed as part of their ground-breaking (literally!) rewilding
programme, and the very autumnal produce from the wilds of Sussex. Highlighting
Ellie's nose-to-tail philosophy for the omnivores and lots of beautiful plant-y
dishes championing the very best flavours of the season, all ethically and
sustainably sourced. Each ticket will include a donation to the food education
charity, Prept, four fantastic courses of stunning food championing the very
best produce coming out of Sussex, and a specially-created Brighton Gin cocktail
to get things going with a bang. In between courses you'll hear from the
inimitable Sharon Honey talking about the work of Prept, Kate Bradbury talking
about Knepp plus her latest bestselling book One Garden Against the World, and
we'll be raffling off some pretty amazing Brighton Gin goodies and experiences

distillery tours and Gin Schools give you a chance to find out about the
botanicals which make Brighton Gin so delicious. You'll get to sample Brighton
Gin's different styles too! Join a distillery tour and label and hand-wax your
own mini bottle of Brighton Gin to take home, and you can take a deeper dive at
one of our Gin Schools by making your own style of gin choosing from a range of
botanicals, from citrussy to spicy, and take away your very own 700ml bottle!
Booking is open now for our Autumn series of events - come on your own, or make

⛔DISTILLERY SHUT ⛔ - Yes, because we are off (WITH GIN!!!!) to Bannau
Brycheiniog in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for @greenmanfest for a) work, b) play, c)
GIN (yes, for the first time ever, the gorgeous Green Man Festival will stock
your favourite handmade LGBTQ+ run gin!) We will be closed next week from
Wednesday August 14th and will be back back on MONDAY August 20th. Last
opportunity for collections, refills, and distillery door sales is Tuesday 4pm.
We will do local deliveries on both Monday and Tuesday, and also of course send
out any web orders coming in until 11am to make sure you get your gin fix.

☀️SUPER SATURDAY 🎉 - This Saturday we will be pouring gins at 3(!!) events, and
we have been super busy preparing all week what with the Pride bottle launch in
the middle and having a new Raspberry Crush batch canned! Paul has given the van
a much needed wash to clear it off seagull poo and also built a whole new pallet
bar which has of course been painted in our signature colour. We're looking
forward to its first outing 💚 Find us from 12 at @onegardenbrighton for
refreshing cocktails, gifts, and we will of course bring our brand-new Pride
bottle! 🌈 Further afield in Sussex, you can also get your mittens on your
favourite gin at the @eastsussexnationalgolfspahotel, runs 11-3. Our distiller

year's Limited Pride Edition in collaboration with the fabulous film maker,
illustrator and fuzzy felt artist @ladypat_art who is known for recklessly
genre-hopping across technologies, and disrupting expectations with his exciting
"Queerodivergent" arts career. Ladypat is also responsible for this year's
@brightonprideofficial Fabuloso artwork. For our 9th (!!) annual Pride edition
Ladypat has let rip with a unique and playful take on a Brighton icon - a glam
but punk seagull. "The seagull is THE ultimate Brighton icon! Inexorably woven
into our daily lives, taking up space and not easily ignored!" This year we are
hand-mixing the wax to match the label - the labels arrived today, we are
filling and mixing as we speak! Get your pre orders in, we will start delivering
these goodies from this Friday June 21!! You'll then also find them in trusted
local off licences such as @winebarrelhove @quaffwine @brightonyourspirit 🩷 as

INVESTITURE - Today we are wishing our wonderful founder Kathy Caton MBE ❤️ a
fantastic time at Windsor Castle where she will receive her Honours award in
person by a member of the Royal Family. Because we are a family & friends
outfit, it means that both our Production Manager (and Kathy's mum) Jude as well
as Director (and best friend) Ellie can be part of this very important moment.
Kathy received her MBE for her services to UK Trade as well as the Community in
Brighton. 😍 We are so proud of you!! See you for a glass of fizz later! PS.

🍸🍸TOMORROW IS OUR FAVOURITE DAY of the year - World Gin Day! 🍸🍸 Every year
since 2009, thanks to the lovely Emma @ginmonkeyuk , the second Saturday of June
is dedicated to the most wonderful spirit in the world! Enjoy a classic G & T,
drink it neat (perhaps over ice), or: indulge in a homemade cocktail. We've
chosen our signature Basil Smash which looks fancy, is a tiny bit savoury, and
utterly delicious! Quick recipe here: Muddle 5-8 basil leaves in a shaker, add
60ml of either of our gins (the Seaside Strength goes super well here as
modelled by the late Alfred 💚 in the first photo @ginmops ), 25ml lime juice,
15ml sugar syrup, and shake it all with ice 🧊. Fine/double strain into a nice
glass and garnish with another basil leaf. For a longer version, strain into a
tall, ice-filled glass and top up with soda water. ENJOY! 🍸 PS. Our pub
@bottomsrestpub will offer those gorgeous beauties 2 for £14 ALL DAY to
celebrate World Gin Day!

A PEEK INTO OUR ARCHIVES... -- We had the chance recently to dig through some of
our photo archives and thought it would be fun to share the results with you.
What a fun, emotional and slightly terrifying walk down memory lane charting our
12+ years of craft gin journey. We are very proud to have grown our production
methods and scale significantly whilst staying authentically handmade. This is
the Spirit of Brighton. (Yes, that is Green MP Caroline Lucas waxing a bottle.)
PS. Our founder Kathy MIGHT have more grey hair and wrinkles nowadays, however,
this is an unconfirmed rumour. ENJOY!
