     The front desk staff was rude. Our room was not ready and they tried to
     switch us to a King room (there were 3 of us). We finally got our room and
     it was dirty, the rug, the floor, the furniture all dirty and stained. We
     had to call for towels as we had one set for 3 adults. It was just not a
     comfortable room

     GREAT STAY, EVERYONE DESERVES A RAISE
     
     My stay was rendered even more remarkable by the exceptional staff. Each
     person I met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, surpassing the last in
     kindness, unless it was a delightful second encounter. The experience was
     genuinely enchanting, set in a magical place. The current compensation for
     your staff surely doesn't suffice; they enhance everyone's lives and add a
     special twinkle to the Chicago nights. I have never felt as welcomed,
     valued, and accommodated as I did by this team. It was an extraordinary
     experience, and they all merit raises. If it were within my means, I would
     personally reward them for the significant impact they've had on me.

     The room had a horrible view. The walls were not finished completely, was
     looking at concrete on one side, and designed walls on the other side. Same
     goes for the ceiling. Was overcharged for my drink.

     COOL VIBE BUT NOT QUITE UP TO PAR
     
     Good: Cool modern vibe, fun atmosphere in the lobby, super cool pool and
     workout room on the 19th floor, comfortable beds, nice newly finished
     rooms, great location (depending on your plans, but felt safe there and
     fairly convenient).
     Bad: Staff is a mixed bag (either super awesome or ambivalent), doors are
     paper thin - you will hear every sound in the hallway, no all-day coffee in
     the lobby (only water after 10 or 11)), had a room on the 3rd floor with a
     view of a weed garden and a wall, staff not interested in room upgrades,
     room/floor considerations or anything special for Marriott gold members,
     overpriced breakfast items, hate the sliding door on the bathrooms—they
     give zero privacy.

     Everything was nice top-tier the one thing I prefer Is for housekeeping or
     pay Company💯 to deep clean the carpets that was my only complaint but

     ROOMS NEED UPDATING
     
     Good location near shopping and a variety of restaurants. Across from a
     Whole Foods. Rooms are in need of a refresh and the bathroom offered
     nowhere to place a single thing, but it was oddly huge. No benefits for
     Bonvoy Gold members, which was disappointing.

     GREAT HOTEL AND LOCATION
     
     I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of this property.
     I usually consider the Aloft properties a basic hotel but this one really
     had modern conveniences and great staff!
