YOU’RE IN CONTROL

There is no limit to how many parcels you can deliver. If you’re doing a great
job of keeping your customers happy, then there is no reason why you cant take
on more parcels to deliver. After all the more you deliver, the more you earn.


ADVICE AND SUPPORT

You’ll get to know your Community Delivery Manager really well. They are there
to support and guide you in person and on the phone. Our courier helpdesk also
operates 7 days a week if you need additional support.

WHAT ARE THE WORKING HOURS FOR THE ROLE?

As a Self-employed courier working hours can be really flexible depending on a
number of factors such as your availability, the location of your round, and the
amount of parcels that particular round generates. On average a courier works
approximately 5-6 hours a day.


HOW WILL I BE PAID?

Couriers are paid on a monthly basis via BACS. All payments made by GenSped
Limited to the courier. 

You will be given access to your personal profile on our website “Couriers
Online”. We will prepare a self-bill invoice on your behalf. Details of payments
are on your invoices that are accessible through “Couriers Online”.


DO I NEED ADDITIONAL INSURANCE?

As an independent courier, you need to have the right level of third party cover
while making deliveries. We will develop a “complementary” insurance with Marsh
Insurance. Charged at £1.25 per day and only on days when services are provided
for us, this provides the necessary third party cover for independent couriers
whilst making deliveries and collections on behalf of our customers. (Full
details can be provided on request).
