TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The CE Shop courses are delivered through a secure and proprietary Learning
Management System (LMS). An internet connection is required (high speed is
recommended, but not required). Please refer to our FAQ page for a full list of
requirements.

REFUND POLICY

The CE Shop is committed to student satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied for any
reason, The CE Shop will refund the purchase price of any course if the refund
request is submitted within thirty (30) days of purchase, prior to course
expiration, and the course is not more than fifty percent (50%) complete.

Live (synchronous) courses are refundable up to three (3) weeks (fifteen (15)
business days) prior to the scheduled start date of class. No refunds will be
issued if online training is more than fifty percent (50%) complete or if the
live class has started.

Regarding Exam Prep Edge, The CE Shop will refund the purchase price of any Exam
Prep Edge product if the refund request is submitted within thirty (30) days of
purchase and if the initial assessment has not been completed.

The CE Shop does not offer price adjustments on previously purchased items.

ELECTRONIC TEXTBOOKS

The CE Shop eTextbooks are not returnable. All sales are final. Any eTextbooks
procured through RedShelf expire 365 days from the purchase date. Up to 100% of
eTextbook content may be downloaded, within the eReader, to be used for offline
viewing only. A maximum of 20% of eTextbook content may be downloaded or printed
for personal use outside of the eReader.

REPURCHASE POLICY

If your course has fully expired, you may repurchase the course at fifty percent
(50%) off of the current retail price one (1) time. This option is only
available for thirty (30) days after the full expiration date of the course. If
your course expires a second time, you will have to repurchase the course at
full price.

COURSE APPROVAL

In the event of an extension or re-enrollment, it is the responsibility of the
student to verify with a school representative that the course approval is still
active.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes must be applied at checkout. No refund for an unused
promotional code will be given after checkout has been completed. To obtain your
promotional code discount, you must enter the promotional code in the box under
your total at checkout and click the "Apply Discount" button. The discount
amount will then be subtracted from the total amount due.

Promotional codes cannot be combined and are not eligible for use in conjunction
with payment plans, extensions, or additional certificates of completion.

Promotions offered by The CE Shop do not extend to appraisal products, American
Home Inspectors Training products, or eTextbooks. However, The CE Shop reserves
the right to introduce special promotions for these specific products during
designated times throughout the year.

Discounts do not apply to Ohio Pre-Licensing courses. Ohio discounts only apply
to Pre-Licensing package features, Exam Prep Edge, Post-Licensing, and
Continuing Education.

SALES TAX

Due to the tax law which mandates that online businesses must collect sales tax
in certain states, if your state requires sales tax to be collected, it will
automatically be added to the total amount due at checkout minus any donation
made to The CE Shop Foundation. In addition, if payment plans are available,
sales tax will be added to each monthly payment plan total. For questions,
please contact The CE Shop.

CE HOURS OR NOT-FOR-CREDIT HOURS

When a course is approved for CE credit, the hours of approval will be reflected
on the state- specific web page under column headings reflective of the type of
credit being given. If the course hours are listed ONLY in the "Total" column,
the course DOES NOT carry any CE credit in that state.

PROGRESS, COMPLETION, AND ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

Students must complete 100% of the learning material presented in a course and
demonstrate understanding of the material by passing all quizzes and the final
exam (where required by the regulatory entity) to receive credit hours for the
course. Students who do not complete 100% of the material will not be issued a
certificate of completion and will not receive credit hours for the course.

For courses that require monitored seat time, our online course delivery system
manages this requirement.

All course enrollment and completion times are recorded in Central Standard Time
(CST). The CE Shop does not have a probation policy in place for courses.

STUDENT IDENTITY VERIFICATION

In addition to utilizing a unique username and password to access student
profiles and course materials, each student is required to complete a digital
signature at the end of the course attesting to his/her identity. Student
accounts cannot be shared.

DIGITAL SIGNATURE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Once all required coursework has been completed, students must certify that they
were the student/licensee who completed the coursework. This is accomplished at
the end of each course, within our LMS. A course and instructor evaluation is
also presented at this time to the student. Once certification has taken place,
the student’s certificate of completion is sent to the student via an automated
email and is also stored in the student's online account for a minimum of five
(5) years unless otherwise stated. Any exceptions to these rules will be
provided to the student in the requirement details via the webpage, email
instructions, and/or course orientation and completion slides.

COURSE REPORTING

If your course completion is required to be reported to a regulatory agency,
please allow a minimum of three (3) business days for the school to report your
course completion.

COURSE DELIVERY METHODS

Courses may be delivered via multiple delivery methods. Asynchronous delivery
allows students to learn at their own pace and access the course 24/7/365.
Synchronous (live online) delivery requires that students are in attendance at a
specific place at a specific time (can be online). Flexible Learning is learning
that is delivered by paralleling live online course content with our self-paced
training course. This delivery method allows students to choose to complete the
content via live online or self-paced delivery or a combination of both.

EXAMINATIONS

The following terms apply to exams, unless otherwise stated in these Terms and
Conditions:

 1. Unit exams are presented at the conclusion of each unit, with a varying
number of questions depending on the amount of content contained in each
unit. Unit exams can be retaken as many times as necessary.
 2. Students will not be able to proceed to subsequent units in the course until
the unit exam in each unit is successfully completed and passed.
 3. Final exams are presented at the conclusion of each course, with a varying
number of questions depending on the amount of content contained in the
course. Students may take the examination as many times as necessary to
achieve a passing score and demonstrate understanding of the material,
unless the jurisdiction or education type specifies otherwise. Please refer
to the state-specific catalog page(s) for information on the number of final
exam attempts, passing percentage required, and proctoring requirements.
 4. If a jurisdiction requires the final course exam to be proctored, the
student will be required to use The CE Shop’s third-party electronic
proctoring solution at the student's cost, where applicable. The student
will need to schedule an appointment with the online proctor in advance.
Full details of the online proctoring process can be accessed here.
 5. Some states may require the final course exam to be proctored in person.
Full details of the in-person proctoring process can be accessed here.

RECORDS

Student files are retained for the minimum time required by state regulations.
Online student files are maintained online in our cloud-based servers, and paper
files are held at The CE Shop’s corporate offices.

Student records may be requested in writing by the student at any time. Student
records are confidential. No records will be made available to employers,
prospective employers, family members, or other schools unless a written request
has been made by the student.

provide ten to fourteen (10-14) business days' notice in order for their

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Students must spend all required seat time engaged in the course material to
receive credit for the course. In those states that require monitored seat time,
our online course delivery system manages this requirement for you.

In addition to the above, the below provided states have specific completion
requirements:

 * ALASKA real estate licensees are only allowed to complete a total of ten (10)
CE course hours in a twenty-four (24)-hour period.
 * ARIZONA real estate licensees are not allowed to complete more than nine (9)
CE course hours in a twenty-four (24)-hour period and no more than ten (10)
   Pre-Licensing course hours in a twenty-four (24)-hour period.
 * CALIFORNIA real estate licensees are limited to completion of final
examinations for a maximum of fifteen (15) credit hours during any one
   twenty-four (24)-hour period. A maximum of eight (8) hours reading/study time
per day shall be used in calculating the number of days that must lapse from
the time the participant has had access to the course material until the
examination can be accessed (e.g., if eight (8) credit hours have already
been started and the final exam completed in a twenty-four (24)-hour period,
the final exam for an additional course will not be available until the next
twenty-four (24)-hour period). Students must spend the requisite number of
hours navigating through the content and completing the incremental
assessments prior to being granted access to the final examination (e.g., for

unit quizzes must be complete before the final exam can be accessed). A
student may enroll in any number of courses with the following guidelines:
Schools may not offer a single correspondence course that is to be completed
in less than two and a half (2.5 ) weeks. This rule applies regardless of the
number of schools the student is taking courses from. No more than two (2)
courses may be completed in a five (5) week period. For example: Completion
time for courses would be as follows:
   * One (1) course = two and a half (2.5) weeks
   * Two (2) courses = five (5) weeks
   * Four (4) courses = ten (10) weeks
   * Six (6) courses = fifteen (15) weeks
   * Eight (8) courses = twenty (20) weeks

PLEASE NOTE: Free trials are not counted/included in the two and a half (2.5)

review your history and make a determination of either MOST LIKELY APPROVE or
MOST LIKELY DENY your license application when submitted. The decision of the
Commission is non-binding, and a license candidate may submit his or her license
application no matter what the Commission’s decision is for the Preliminary
Decision Application. The Preliminary Decision gives the license candidate a
window of probability as to the acceptance or denial of a license application,

STUDENT RULES OF CONDUCT

Rules of Conduct for NMLS-Approved Pre-Licensing (PE) and Continuing Education
(CE) Courses

The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act), requires
that state-licensed MLOs complete Pre-Licensing (PE) and Continuing Education
(CE) courses as a condition to be licensed. The SAFE Act also requires that all
education completed as a condition for state licensure be NMLS-approved. Since
2009 NMLS has established course design, approval, and delivery standards which
NMLS-approved course providers are required to meet. To further ensure students
meet the

requirements of the SAFE Act, NMLS has established a Rules of Conduct (ROC). The
ROC has been approved by the NMLS Mortgage Testing & Education Board and the
NMLS Policy Committee, both of which are comprised of state regulators, and are
intended to stress that NMLS-approved education be delivered and completed with
integrity.

Rules of Conduct

As an individual completing either Pre-Licensure education (PE) or Continuing
Education (CE), I agree to abide by the following rules of conduct:

 1. I attest that I am the person who I say I am and that all my course
    registration information is accurate.
 2. I acknowledge that I will be required to show a current government issued
form of identification prior to, and during the course, and/or be required
to answer questions that are intended to verify/validate my identity prior
    to, and during the course.
 3. I understand that the SAFE Act and state laws require me to spend a specific
amount of time in specific subject areas. Accordingly, I will not attempt to
circumvent the requirements of any NMLS-approved course.
 4. I will not divulge my login ID or password or other login credential(s) to
another individual for any online course.
 5. I will not seek or attempt to seek outside assistance to complete the
    course.
 6. I will not give or attempt to give assistance to any person who is
registered to take an NMLS-approved Pre-Licensing or Continuing Education
    course.
 7. I will not engage in any conduct that creates a disturbance or interferes
with the administration of the course or other students’ learning.
 8. I will not engage in any conduct that would be contrary to good character or
reputation, or engage in any behavior that would cause the public to believe
that I would not operate in the mortgage loan business lawfully, honestly
    and fairly.
 9. I will not engage in any conduct that is dishonest, fraudulent, or would
adversely impact the integrity of the course(s) I am completing and the
conditions for which I am seeking licensure or renewal of licensure.

I understand that NMLS-approved course providers are not authorized by NMLS to
grant exceptions to these rules and that I alone am responsible for my conduct
under these rules. I also understand that these rules are in addition to
whatever applicable rules my course provider may have.

I understand that the course provider or others may report any alleged
violations to NMLS and that NMLS may conduct an investigation into alleged
violations and that they may report alleged violations to the state(s) in which
I am seeking licensure or maintain licenses, or to other states.

I understand the CSBS Privacy Notice is applicable to these Rules of Conduct.
The CSBS Privacy Notice can be found here:
https://nationwidelicensingsystem.org/about/policies/NMLS%20Document%20Library/CSBS%20External%20Privacy%20Notice-6.18%20(1).pdf

I further understand that the results of any investigation into my alleged
violation(s) may subject me to disciplinary actions by the state(s) or the State
Regulatory Registry (SRR), including removal of any course from my NMLS record,
and/or denial or revocation of my license(s).

dates at no additional cost, if it is more than fifteen (15) business days prior
to the start of class. You may request a one-time reschedule of your selected
class dates for a fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the current retail cost, paid
in full at the time the request is made. All rescheduling requests must be
received at least fifteen (15) business days prior to the start date of
scheduled class. Rescheduling requests less than fifteen (15) business days of
the start date result in forfeiture of tuition and you can be re-enrolled in a
new upcoming class at a discounted fee of fifty percent (50%) of the current
retail cost.

EXAM PREP EDGE

Exam Prep Edge courses expire two (2) years from the date of purchase.

EXPIRATION AND COURSE EXTENSIONS

Online courses must be completed within twelve (12) months of enrollment date.
If you are unable to complete your course within the initial twelve (12)-month
period, then you may extend your course access, for a fee, for up to eighteen
(18) months total, when allowed by the regulatory body.* The cost of extension
is twenty percent (20%) of the current retail price of the course for each
thirty (30)-day extension or partial thirty (30)-day extension, in the event
that the course expires prior to the end of the final thirty (30)-day extension.
Access to the course after thirty (30) days from initial expiration requires
re-enrollment at a discounted fee of fifty percent (50%) of the current retail
cost and no progress will be kept.

*The Louisiana AHIT course must be completed within six (6) months of purchase
date. No extensions are allowed.

* The Arkansas AHIT course must be completed within twelve (12) months of
purchase date. No extensions are allowed.

tuition and require re-enrollment in an upcoming class at a discounted fee of
fifty percent (50%) of the current retail cost.

CHANGES MADE BY THE SCHOOL

hotel, car rental, etc.) incurred.
