How to get a CDL?
To start training, you will need: confirmation of your legal status, a valid
driver's license (class C), a medical card (Physical DOT card), and a Truck
Driving Permit (Learner’s Permit). Training can commence with a license and
permit from any state. After passing the DMV exam, your data will be entered
into a federal system, and within 10-14 working days, you will receive your CDL
by mail. In some states, a personal visit is required to obtain a CDL.
Which enrollment procedures?
Provide all applicable documentation listed above to the GTALLC representative.
Complete a personal interview with school representative.
Complete and successfully score at least a level A2 on the prescribed English
assessment test. Fill out the form on the website, and we will send you the
school catalog and answer all your questions.
Read and sign student enrollment agreement (student contract).
Pay full tuition before the first day of class according to enrollment
agreement.
What are the admission requirements?
For admission to the program students must provide the following documentation
prior to the first day of class.
~ Current Sate Driver's License v Be at least 18 years of age
o Must be 21 years old to drive state-to-state (interstate classification) o
Must be 18 years old to drive solely within the license-issuing state
(intrastate
classification).
Provide a three-year motor vehicle record (MVR) and Drivers Disclosure
Statement. To be reviewed and decided upon by the School Director or his
assignee to ensure it meets the current requirements of the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
The applicants MVR will be evaluated based on the disqualifications listed in
Section 383.51 of the FMCSR's ($12).
Get a DOT physical exam medical card and negative drug test in accordance with
Part 391, Subpart E of the FMCS's ($100).
Be able to read, write, and speak English language to converse with general
public which is assessed by the applicant scoring at least level A2 on the
Cambridge English Language Assessment.
What is the duration and language of the training and exam?

The training duration is approximately one month. In 90% of states, the exam is
conducted in English. However, in California, Washington, and Pennsylvania, the
PERMIT test can be taken in other languages, including Spanish, Russian, and
Polish. Classes in our center are primarily conducted in English and Russian.
Study materials for Pre-Trip Inspection are also available in Ukrainian,
Georgian, Uzbek, Polish, Spanish, Hindi, Punjabi, and Turkish. We offer a
flexible schedule allowing you to continue working while training for your CDL.
With us, you are guaranteed to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and
confidence before the exam.

Gladiator Trucker Academy
Education Program
ELDT Certificate
160 hour certificate

The program consists of a 4-week training course (160 hours), 1 week of
theoretical instruction and 3 weeks of driving range and road instructions.

The day Program hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch


CDL 101 - Theory (40 hours)

This course is designed to meet the minimum theory requirements for entry level
driver applicants seeking their initial Class A commercial driver's license
commonly referred to as a CDL. The Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) program
was developed to improve the quality of truck drivers by making sure they have
the knowledge and skills needed to operate a commercial motor vehicle
successfully and safely.

Students will spend 40 clock hours in the classroom learning in detail the basic
operation of a Class A CMV to include vehicle systems, maintenance, inspection,
securing and transporting cargo, and safety procedures to be followed when
driving

CDL 102 - Range and Road (120 hours)

The Commercial Driver Training Behind the Wheel is a hands-on, comprehensive lab
study where students learn and practice the physical operation of Class A
Commercial Motor Vehicle, skills and knowledge.The course focuses on the safe,
legal, and professional operation of a Class A Tractor Trailey
This course also focuses on the skills and behavioral characteristics of a
professional commercial driver.
During your Behind-the-Wheel training, students will learn the pre-trip vehicle
inspection and how to maneuver the Class A vehicle in confined spaces. This
includes backing and parking skills on our driving range. Once the student is
proficient, they will progress to driving a Class A CMV on public roads, putting
into practice knowledge and skills learned on the driving range. Students will
finish the course with preparation for taking the required, three-part, Class A,
Commercial Driver's License in Pennsylvania to include the Vehicle Inspection
Test, Basic Vehicle Control Skills Test, and the On The Road Driving Test.


The Program is a PASS or FAIL grading system. This grading method fits a
primarily physic skills training program better than the traditional letter or
number grade system. Students must

PASS both courses in order to graduate and obtain a certificate. Training is
completed at the GTALLC's training grounds. It consists of in the classroom
lectures, computer lab, driving range and on the road instruction.
