YOUTH CHANGEMAKER FELLOWSHIP

The Youth Changemaker Fellowship is Mentora Foundation’s flagship program for
developing young changemakers around the world. Mentora Foundation is the
not-for-profit arm of the Mentora Institute, which is committed to helping
organizations advance their purpose, people and performance by applying the
science of human potential.

Now more than ever, society needs a new generation of leaders dedicated to
strengthening people’s moral, mental and spiritual fibers. The Changemaker
Fellowship aims to develop young leaders using Mentora’s proven Inner Mastery |
Outer Impact approach to bringing out the best in oneself and others by
activating and expressing the Five Core Energies of Purpose, Wisdom, Love,
Growth, and Self-Realization in all aspects of their lives.

Guided by Mentora faculty and an evolving list of guest speakers, the goal of
the Mentora Fellowship is to equip highly committed and talented youth with the
insights, skills, experiences and support needed to help them, in the years
ahead, bring positive and deep change in the values and practices of whatever
discipline they pursue.

The Fellowship will prepare Youth Fellows for affecting change from the
inside-out – shifting the hearts and minds of their audience in a more empowered
and positive direction. Along the way, the Fellowship will invite Fellows to
strengthen their own character and build a strong foundation at their Core.

INTRODUCTION

Some people are happy to keep living in the world as it exists today; others
dream of a more beautiful tomorrow.

Some dreamers just dream; others work to materialize their dream by pursuing
change.

Some eventually give up their change effort, because change is hard; others
strive on in their quest to advance humanity.

Some among these relentless change agents wish to alleviate humanity’s outer
hunger by building a more prosperous world, where more and more people will
enjoy freedom, justice, basic income, and a long life. Others go deeper.

FELLOWSHIP STRUCTURE

The Youth Changemaker Fellowship is a 12-14 month fellowship for college
students who desire to inspire positive change in the world from the inside-out,
by first bringing about change in their own self.

The Fellowship has 3 phases:

 1. A full-time, in-person 6-week Summer Session 1 in New York, NY, from July 6
    - August 12. Participants' housing and a limited food plan will be covered
    by the Mentora Foundation. An additional stipend of $1,500 will also be
    provided.
    * There will be 9 hours of formal activities Monday-Friday during these 6
      weeks. 4 hours will be dedicated to classroom learning and practice, 4
      hours to a change project, and 1 hour to small group discussions and
      personal assignments. There will also be recreational community events.
    * Fellows will have two short assignments every week, plus a presentation to
      be done in Week 6 on their plan for their Change Project.

TUITION AND FEES

Youth Changemaker Fellows are not required to pay any tuition or fees for this
program, nor is there an application fee.

ELIGIBILITY

This Fellowship is for college students enrolled in an accredited college or
university. Competitive applicants will demonstrate some, if not all, of the
traits described below:

 * You wish to grow not just from the outside, in your academic or functional
   skills, but from the inside, in gaining awareness and mastery over your
   thoughts, beliefs, intentions, values and emotions, and over how you inspire,
   influence and collaborate with people.
