As our new Business Development Manager, you will be part of Mollieβs Sales team in DACH. We are looking to add skilled sales professionals who have an entrepreneurial mindset and are looking to get their hands dirty, have a data-driven mindset and are eager to make a difference. Focusing on medium and large web shops with complex needs. This requires C-level and in-depth sales conversations.. You have full ownership of the sales cycle. From prospecting, engaging, nurturing leads and understanding their pain points to create a compelling commercial proposal that fits their business needs perfectly. Your ultimate objective is to expand our customer base into the POS and Omnichannel segment and turn your newly signed customers into strong Mollie ambassadors. What you'll be doing: * You are not only the expert on POS and Omnichannel but also actively hunting for new customers to onboard for Mollie. In addition to that you will work closely together with our E-Com team to collectively provide new customers the best Omnichannel-experience. * Own the Pipeline: Manage a deal pipeline of large new customers taking full responsibility from first contact through to becoming a live customer. * Complex Sales Management: Handle complex sales cycles, including extensive negotiations with senior stakeholders and intricate decision-making processes. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to expedite conversion while managing risk for Mollie. * Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with partners and various stakeholders, including client-side, internal, and third parties, to accelerate integration and get customers live. * Performance Reporting: Utilize available dashboards and funnel management tools to report and discuss performance. Apply your analytical skills to understand the market and devise an adapted strategy. What you'll bring: * Strong relationship-building skills, transparency, honesty, and a consultative sales approach. * Confidence in discussing technical solutions with potential clients. * Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed commercial targets. * A strategic, process-driven approach to selling. * You enjoy and have experience in outbound sales. * 3-5 years of experience in sales, a strong background in POS-Sales is a must. * Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting in English (required). Please do not apply if you are not fluent in German.
