HOW HONEST CONVERSATIONS CAN AND WILL CHANGE YOUR ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE FOR THE
BETTER.

Tuesday, August 4, 2020

We know all too well that the world we live in, and the impact it then has on
humanity, directly affects our businesses and our communities. We cannot
single-handedly control the events of the world and society in which we live.
What we always do have within our reach though is the manner in which we build
and foster relationships, how we lead our teams, how we support our teams and
support each other. Our quality and investment in relationships and how we lead
directly affects our resilience, our ability to respond and cope with the world
and societal events. Honest conversations are critical to achieving effective,
productive, and healing outcomes. Watch for tips to keep in mind as a resilient,
inspirational, and transformational leader. Dr. Shelly Farnan with Burrell
Behavioral Health is your host.

HOW TO MAINTAIN HAPPINESS, HEALTH AND ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR MIND.

Wednesday, July 22, 2020

After you take time to pause, breathe and assess how you are feeling through the
Rate the Weight scale, the next step is to identify what to do with that feeling
and rating. This step is self-care and self-regulation, which is doing the
things we each uniquely need to do in order to maintain our happiness, health
and the ongoing development of our minds. Learn how to do this for yourself and
tips to implement for your team.

BOOST EMPLOYEE SUCCESS: LEARN HOW TO BE AN EMOTIONAL PREVENTIONIST VS.
INTERVENTIONIST

Thursday, July 9, 2020

To lead people effectively, it is critical that we are able to manage and
understand our own feelings and the feelings of others. When we do this: burnout
is lower, the intent to leave a job is reduced and employees are overall less
frustrated.

UNDERSTANDING THE BRAIN SCIENCE TO UNDERSTAND YOUR EMOTIONS

Friday, June 26, 2020

As humans we know our brains need to feel safe, first and foremost, which is why
we physically distanced and made such drastic changes to our daily routines in
recent months. But we also need to be heard, to have the opportunity to name our
struggles and have them witnessed. It also is incredibly important to be
compassionate with ourselves, as family members, employees, supervisors, or
business owners.
