Unfortunately, not all my neighbors are prompt in clearing snow from their sidewalks. I've encountered snow and ice patches for about a week. The cleats make walking a lot more comfortable for me. Two minor issues: 1) It's a little tricky finding a secure fitting spot for them. One of the cleats came off twice the first time I wore them 2) I think they run a little small. I wear a size 9 shoe. I ordered a medium, which should fit sizes 9-11. I've always been rather anxious about ice, which actually makes more prone to falling over. However, YakTrax seem to love ice, so I could walk down the pavement with confidence (they're not so keen on a tiled floor, as I discovered in the supermarket, but that's a very small price to pay) Also, I opted for 2 day delivery and they actually came the next day, before the weather turned really bad.
