Born in 1955 and graduating from Hindu College, Delhi University, Ashok Bhasin
joined Customs and Central Excise Department in 1976. During his service tenure,
he pursued his studies further and did his M.A. in Philosophy and LL.B. from
Delhi University. He left the department in 1996 and started his practice as an
advocate, getting himself enrolled under Bar Council of Delhi. He is a member of
Delhi High Court and Supreme Court Bar Association. He is recipient of President
of India Award in recognition of commitment to work and distinguished services.
He had in-depth knowledge of manner of investigation, the methods used by
lawyers in the court and his experience at both the places inspired him to write
this book. The author has also written four thriller novels, which have
been  acclaimed by readers.

Born in 1955, Ashok Bhasin graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University, and
joined the Customs and Central Excise Department in 1976. He later left the
department in 1996 to pursue a career as an advocate, enrolling with the Bar
Council of Delhi.

Bhasin received the President of India Award for his commitment to work and
distinguished services, acknowledging his significant contributions to the legal
field.
