Mr Borkar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Composites and Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Borkar has been responsible for the development and manufacture of ESAPI body armor plates with over 14 different ESAPI plate solutions for the U.S. Army including manufacturing Ballistic Protection Armor Systems for Blackhawk, Chinook and CH-53 transport helicopters for the U.S. Army, Marines and Air Force. He served as the Program Manager and the Chief Engineer / Designer of the CH-53 “Ironhorse” Ballistic Protection System Program for the U.S. Naval Airwing Command, for which he received several awards and a commendation. Mr. Borkar was also responsible for the development and manufacture of over 24,000 retrofit Ballistic Protection Military Vehicle Blanket kits for installing in HMMWVs and other troop carriers for the U.S. Armed Forces in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. ANJALI BORKAR, CO-FOUNDER Over 14 years of extensive experience in the manufacturing operations and logistics of bullet and blast resistant armor manufacture. Mrs. Borkar oversaw and managed the manufacture of over 100 Blast Resistant EOD suits for the U.N. Peacekeeping Forces. In 2019, she oversaw and managed the manufacture of 24,000 bullet resistant ceramic rifle plates for Rio De Janeiro Police Forces in Brazil. Her expertise in the manufacture and operational activities related to the manufacture of an extensive range of soft and hard amor products.
