more harm than good? What stories are you telling yourself? Today, try and make
a point today of flipping things around... Take control of thoughts,don’t let
them control you 💪 Some quick tips: - fill your social media feed with
positivity and get rid of the things and people that are not feeding that.....
if you can’t do that then stay off social media! - turn off the news - when
people start talking to you about covid or being generally negative ... flip the
conversation to something positive - TALK! There are so many services out there
that are waiting and willing to listen and support you..... if you are genuinely
struggling then please please please reach out.... you are not alone so why go
it alone!? If you need some guidance please drop me a message👍 Whatever you
focus on you will begin to see more of..... make today a day where you make good

YEAR 6 TRANSITION TIME!

So....after speaking to several parents and carers over the past few weeks i
wanted to discuss the transition that year 6’s are making into year 7 in
September in an attempt to help ease any worries or anxieties....so I asked my
boy JJ to explain things from his point of view as he has recently experienced

Having a 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 for you and your children is great, 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬....
ALOT! But does it have to stay the same all of the time? Even if your as rigid
as they come and 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞, that doesn’t mean that
change isn’t good....particularly if it’s 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧
themselves ! 👍 Also, what 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 are you 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠
for your children ? Have you considered it? 🤷‍♂️ They are 𝐀𝐋𝗪𝐀𝐘𝐒
𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠! 👀👂🏻 Here is JJ and I ( and half a
tube of toothpaste around my mouth.... I clearly don’t even bother looking in

How often do you 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 and
end up doing it for them, or telling/showing them a different way? Like
me...have you been 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 ? 🧐 It’s in our
𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞...we feel the need to do 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 to make them
𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞...of course we do! ❤️ BUT....what 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 may this
be having? 🤷‍♂️ To build 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞,𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟
𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐦 and 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 we must take ourselves out of our
𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 and 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 ...
however 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 those curves may be, however much 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 it may
take. 💪 As always...I’m not 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 to be the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 in

ACCEPT WHAT IS, LET GO OF WHAT WAS AND HAVE FAITH WITH WHAT WILL BE 😊

Whatever you’re doing, whatever you’re going through.... and whenever you are
going through it.... then the words that showed up for me today when I flipped
my calendar are valuable ones to keep in mind. We all have our battles in some
way, shape or form and these battles are individual to us. These battles could
be ongoing, they may be fleeting or they may creep up on us... but they are
there and they happen! If you keep doing the right thing, keep pushing forward,
keep the faith that everything will be ok and will turn out exactly how it’s
supposed to... then it will support a mindset shift that makes things feel a
little bit lighter. Make this month be a month that embeds these words into your
mindset and see if you notice a change. Happy hump day ❤️ #keepthefaith
