WHAT IS PILLARDAO

PillarDAO builds, funds and explores Web3, multichain infrastructure and
technology for a decentralized future. The DAO is collectively run and
member-owned - anyone, anywhere can participate and influence the direction of
the DAO.

PillarDAO is completely decentralized and the community owns and governs Pillar
Wallet. All profits from this product (current & future) are routed directly
into the DAO treasury.

manner where all decisions and actions are transparent and community-led. A
system that favours member involvement, financial freedom, and development.

accomplish the steps required to take us forward for the betterment of humans

GOVERNANCE

As a member, you're not just a passive participant but an active Governor with a
voice and vote. You'll have the power to submit and vote on proposals impacting
the Pillar ecosystem, including the products we build and the management of the
DAO treasury. As Governors, we steer the direction of PillarDAO together,
running all of its mechanisms and making decisions that shape our decentralized
future.




HOW TO BECOME A GOVERNOR

To join PillarDAO you are required to lock in 10,000 PLR tokens within the
Polygon smart contract on the membership dApp provided below.

Once locked, you will receive a membership NFT confirming your governor status,
which will be utilized for verification purposes.

 * The lock-in period is for 52 weeks after which you can optionally burn your
   membership NFT and unlock your PLR tokens, deactivating governor status.
 * PillarDAO proposals are discussed in the Pillar Governance Forum and once
   consensus is reached, voted on using SnapShot. The process for submitting a
   proposal is pinned on the forum.


ABOUT PILLARDAO

Incorporated in 2022 in Zug, Switzerland, PillarDAO is a legal entity known as a
DAA (decentralized autonomous association). This community-led association
empowers its members to shape the future of the Pillar Project and make key
decisions for the project roadmap using the Association’s own funds. Following
the establishment of the DAA, Pillar Project Foundation's subsidiary, Pillar
Project AG, was able to legally donate 100 Million PLR tokens to the DAA
treasury for utilization by the members.

PillarDAO operates under Swiss law, providing a unique benefit to its members.
Unlike general partnerships which bear unlimited liability for individuals, the
structure of the DAA limits the legal liability of its members, offering an
additional layer of protection.

The Association is open to cooperation with or joining other organizations that
share the same or similar interests. It also provides services for the benefit
of its members, member organizations, and third parties, effectively promoting
the interests of the members. Anything that directly or indirectly supports the
members' interests aligns with the Association's purpose.
