At Bleu de Chauffe, we are careful about who we team up with. We choose partners
who are close to us both geographically and in terms of our values. Every inch
of material that goes into a French bag from Bleu de Chauffe is carefully
selected. Every handle, every piece of leather, every button, and every piece of
fabric used for our leather accessories is made with respect for the environment
– and not only for the environment, but also for the men and women who make
them. Not a production line in sight, each French artisan leathersmith is
responsible for the bag they produce from A to Z. Bleu de Chauffe savoir-faire
is part of the fabric of the region where we are based: Aveyron, the very
essence of Bleu de Chauffe and our French-made bags.
BLEU DE CHAUFFE, LEATHER GOODS MADE IN FRANCE RESPONSIBLE AND COMMITTED?
For 10 years, Bleu de Chauffe has been making leather bags in France, in our
workshop in the Aveyron region. Our leather and canvas bags are handmade with
passion by our artisan leathersmiths, who date and sign each piece they produce.
We are responsible and conscientious in our manufacturing and committed to local
French production: we make human beings and the environment our core priorities.
We have tried and tested methods which prove that alternative manufacturing is
possible and that it can make a difference.
SHOULDER BAGS, MESSENGER BAGS, BACKPACKS, TRAVEL BAGS – WHAT MAKES THE

The artisan leathersmiths at Bleu de Chauffe use their skill to create new
versions of traditional work bags in leather and canvas, using the best
materials. Our motto: uncompromising quality. We have a large range of women’s
and men’s bags on offer, in vegetable-tanned leather and cotton canvas
(sometimes using organic cotton). Messenger bags, backpacks, travel bags, totes,
camera bags, the musette: all 100% made in France, and made to last!
