It’s easy to request that a package be held for pickup at a location near you. You can choose delivery to one of thousands of convenient locations like Walgreens, select Dollar General locations, select grocery stores, and FedEx Office locations. Start by entering your tracking number and selecting Manage Delivery. If you make your request before midnight the day before your delivery is scheduled, your package will be available for pickup the next day. A secure FedEx location will hold your package for up to 7 days. You can also choose a different residential destination for your package for an additional fee. Choose to receive updates via email, text, and/or phone. Why was my package taken to a FedEx location for pickup? If a delivery requires a signature or we can’t leave the package at your home, we may deliver it to a nearby secure location, like a FedEx Office or Walgreens, for you to pick it up. With extended business hours, you can stop by the location listed on your door tag to pick up your package when it’s convenient for you, as early as the same day. How does a vacation hold work? When you select a vacation hold, you specify the date range, and we will stop delivering FedEx Express® and FedEx Ground packages to your home for that time frame, up to 14 days.
