your aligner therapy
TOTAL COST $2564

With the Allianz insurance product you pay $89 per month (for 26 months). A
reimbursement of $1591 applies for the dental splints. Therefore, a one-time
personal contribution of $250 is made in the first month of insurance.

You will also receive 4 retainers per upper and lower jaw worth $360 ($90 per
retainer).

The offer includes further dental services, which can be claimed from the 25th
month on. This is, for example, professional dental cleaning.

You have the option to terminate the contract at the end of the minimum contract
period of 26 months or at the end of the 36th month - in each case with a notice
period of at least 3 months.

IS TEETH WHITENING INCLUDED?

Yes, free premium teeth whitening is included with your treatment at
SmileDirectClub should you decide to get started with new clear aligners.


HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO START SDC?

Our minimum age requirement is 12 years old, and patients must have all
permanent teeth present. For patients under the age of 18, we need a
parent/guardian signature on the Medical/Dental History Form provided during the
evaluation step.


HOW MUCH DOES SMILEDIRECTCLUB COST?

Start with an $18 from-home impression kit (free after return) or a free 3D scan
at a SmileShop. Next, we offer two convenient payment options. Option 1 is
Single Pay. Make a one-time payment of $2050 – that’s 60% less than the cost of
braces or Invisalign2 – with no hidden costs or fees. Option 2 is SmilePay™.
Make a $250 down payment followed by monthly payments of $89/month for 26 months
($2564 total). APR varies by state. See financing details for your state. There
are no credit checks or forms to fill out, so there is 100% approval after your
down payment is processed. 

 

You may be eligible for coverage from your insurance company. Use the instant
eligibility tool on our Insurance page to find out exactly how much your
provider will cover.

 

To maintain your new smile, you should purchase retainers. SmileDirectClub
retainers cost $99 per set.

Yes, you may be eligible for coverage from your insurance company. Use the
instant eligibility tool on our  to find out exactly how much your provider will
cover. In most cases, SmileDirectClub will coordinate payment directly with the
insurance company, so you only pay the balance of what you owe after insurance
coverage is applied to your total treatment cost. There are some cases where
your insurance company may require that you pay the total balance of your
aligner treatment before applying for reimbursement through them. If so, we will
provide the forms you need to file your reimbursement claim with your insurance
provider.

A number of sanitizing, cleaning and hygienic measures are taken before each
appointment. Those include:

 * Ensuring our Smile Guides maintain excellent personal and environmental
   hygiene. Each Smile Guide checks their temperature every day before work,
   wears a face mask, shield, latex gloves, and sterilizes and keeps their hands
   clean at all times.

 * Assuring that our Smile Shops are clean and safe for all customers and team
   members. We therefore require all customers to complete a temperature check
   and hand sanitizing before entering our scan rooms.

 * Rescheduling scan appointments for customers with symptoms of respiratory
   tract infection or fever.

 * Allotting time for Smile Guides to perform personal and environmental
   sanitizing measures between each appointment.
