LUSTING : ESPADRILLE WEDGES

I am lusting over espadrille wedges since it was officially warm enough to wear
them outdoors. I love, love a good pair but I am not finding one that I really
like and adore, fits my budget and the hardest, my tiny baby feet size 5. I am
favored the more versatile natural color such as the brown/luggage. So until
then I will keep looking and if I am lucky enough, I will find one before the
summer ends.
Maybe you can help me.
If you find one, please do tell !
In the meantime, which one do you fancy?
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo
Sam

SAVANNAH

Summer is not over until we go to the coast. I am talking about the oldest city
of Savannah in the state of Georgia. We been here so many times but the charm of
the city never fails to fascinate me. The architectural designs of the older
buildings, churches & turn of the century houses evokes lots of history and
beauty.
One day is not enough to visit and to do things around town. There are so many
historical places to see and ghostly cemeteries to go to as a tour by night. If
that is not your cup of tea, a river cruise would be just as fine. We did all of
those touristy stuff so this visit was more of dining experience, lots of
picture taking and buy lots of pralines in one of the river streets candy
stores. So old fashion candy making and always love to watch their workers made
them ! It also doesn't hurt that they gave away free samples :).

This wrinkle free and uber comfortable maxi dress is perfect outfit for the day.
It is like wearing a yoga pants but in a dress version in granite stripes.
Lightweight and I actually feel sexy wearing it because it hugs my body just
enough from top to mid section and flares out a tad for ease in walking. I got
lots of compliments and a perfect way to show my tan arms. The granite stripe.
It was on super sale from Loft which makes me even love it even more. The wedges
are as much as comfortable to walk in as I remember. We didn't do lots of
walking this time so it didn't bother me a bit.

 River street

Chocolate covered apples. This delight is seriously huge and heavy, it can knock
your head and hurts :)

more truffles please and my favorite pecan pralines(the one on the top right
corner)

The best shrimp sandwich & crab/corn/potato soup. I ate it all !

The bridge that connects Savannah to South Carolina.

Cruising the city is also a good idea. My son said next time we come, he wants
to stay in that hotel you see at the far end left. Not a bad idea.

Trolley rides are everywhere in Savannah, they do tours around the city.

One of the historical structure(Kehoe House) in the city.

I am mesmerized by these charming & at the same time spooky Spanish Moss hanging
from huge oak trees that were all over the city.

Can't leave the city without trying their horse drawn carriage ride.

Savannah is one of those places that is unique, old soul, charming, fascinating,
beautiful and rich of history at every turn.

I hope your week is off to a great start.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

SHE'S IN LACE

If my 2 previous post(here&here) were both injected with bright colors, today's
post is the exact opposite. It is more or less on a neutral color scheme.  I am
aiming to combine different textures for today's pairings. The lace shorts is an
oldie but goodie and one of my favorite summer staple and my top is as
comfortable as it gets. And since summer is almost over, might as well wear
these cork wedges because she's just begging me to pay attention on her. Besides
the fact that summer is almost coming to an end(sigh) what a better day to wear
some of my summer favorites and say bye, bye July.
August, well hello to yah!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo
Sam

FEELING BOHO

Mommy, 10 pictures and that's it. Says my 8 year old boy. He was so anxious to
get this photo taking over and done with and I need to go somewhere before the
rain downfall. But my husband is not available and my son is an alternate for
the Mister in taking blog pictures. It is not easy to ask a boy when at the
moment he's busy playing and building something on his game console. But I tried
and used my mommy voice (always works) and I don't even have to tell him how
many pictures to take, lol. He knows too well that whenever I used my mommy
voice that I mean business.
Anyway, this peasant top is a new favorite of mine. I have always adore the
style and once in awhile I find something that I favors. It is perfect for
summer. For it is comfortable, non clingy and let's me channel my inner
sometimes bohemian self. This might be a confuse boho chic look for you but it
is comfortable and that is key and matters the most for me.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of fun, smile and sunshine.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo
Sam

DOUBLE DOTS

What would you say if you find something that was on sale, fits you right and so
happy with the purchase? Score ! The other day, my agenda was to shop for my son
and not for me. I did not find anything for him after hitting several stores but
I did find something for me, myself and I. In fairness I am not thinking of
buying anything that day until I saw this polka dot shorts on my way out. The
mindset of shopping for my son first and not for me went all out the door. It is
a habit that is very hard to kick out of my system. Although I found something
for him eventually(online). The trip was not a total waste. I went home happy.
It may sound so shallow to others but shopping really do releases a happy
endorphins in our brains, well mine for sure ! And my husband didn't teased me
of not coming home empty handed. You see when I go shopping and gone for hours,
my husband can't grasp why women can be gone for hours and hours shopping and
yet when they get out of stores, they only have 1 thing or nothing.
This pair of shorts is a great find. I just adore the tiny dots and the
material gives a bit of a stretch. And since we are blessed this week with
nothing but beautiful weather, I wore it to a brunch date with my girlfriends.
Very comfortable and I can see myself wearing it to death this whole summer.
This polka dot short is one of my favorite purchase last week. What's was
your's?
Thank you so much for all the sweet thoughts about my husband.
With 2 more days to the weekend, I hope you have a beautiful Wednesday.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo
Sam

MY VALENTINE

It's Valentine's day once again. I don't exactly remember what we did last year
and yet here we are again celebrating this event. Surely 2014 is faster than it
seems. No biggie plan for us. My husband and I both agreed not to get each other
anything fancy for a gift. For me, a good dinner somewhere would be enough. I
would even prefer for him and my son to make me a home made card than the one
they can buy at store. Or even a handwritten letter would even be better! I am
even ok celebrating at home. I want to surprise him but he's always one step
ahead of me. Well I will find out somehow.

How are you celebrating? Tell me about it next time. But for now, loved and be
love..... Happy  Valentine's day!
xoxo
Sam
