IN THE ROCKIES

The United States, even the Rocky Mountain Region, isn’t immune to Human
Trafficking. It’s happening within every state, and every city. The good news
is, there are many organizations in The Rockies that are fighting for the
freedom of these trafficked victims.


THE PROCESS OF TRAFFICKING


FORCE

FORCE includes physical restraint, physical harm, sexual assault, and beatings.
Monitoring and confinement are often used to control victims, especially during
the early stages of victimization to break down the victim’s resistance.


FRAUD

FRAUD includes false promises regarding employment, wages, working conditions,
love, marriage, or a better life. Over time, there may be unexpected changes in
work conditions, compensation or debt agreements, or the nature of the
relationship.


COERCION

COERCION includes threats of serious harm to or physical restraint against any
person, psychological manipulation, document confiscation, and shame and
fear-inducing threats to share information or pictures with others or report to
authorities.


ABOUT S.A.F.E. ROCKIES

U.S. trafficking is a multi-billion dollar industry. Unfortunately, the Rocky
Mountain region is a major consumer of human goods. Many say, "enough", but
don't know how to make a difference. S.A.F.E. Rockies shines a light on our
region's greatest funding needs to mobilize your generosity and eradicate
trafficking. S.A.F.E. is not a non-profit, but a strategic, supportive investor.
We are here to help collaborate with organizations in the fight.

A FUND

S.A.F.E. (Strategic Alliance to Fight Exploitation) is a unique funding model
for fighting sex trafficking in the Rockies. Through this strategic model we are
able to move the needle against exploitation by funding vetted organizations
through tax deductible donations by S.A.F.E. partners and community members.

S.A.F.E. ROCKIES FUND

Donate through our secure giving portal at the National Christian Foundation
(NCF). This allows S.A.F.E. Rockies to stay administratively lean while making
donations tax deductible. You can give through a NCF fund-to-fund transfer, bank
account, or credit/debit cards.

A STRATEGY

Identifying immediate critical needs, then vetting Alliance organizations that
meet those needs.

The service continuum addresses all parts of the fight against exploitation. The
S.A.F.E. Advisory Board, comprised of experts in the field, agreed on Phase 1
funding strategy. Total Phase 1 funding of $551,500 will be directed to
immediate needs in the Metro Area through:
