AITVM-STVM Conference Buenos Aires 2018
The second Joint International Conference of AITVM and the Society of Tropical
Veterinary Medicine (STVM) brings together animal health and production experts,
senior and junior career researchers and students from the North and the South,
the East and the West.
Organisation
AITVM is a foundation based in the Netherlands with 24 member institutions in
Africa, Asia and Europe. AITVM started its activities in the ealy 1970s. Each
institution is represented by the dean or director or an other senior staff

Standing Committee
The AITVM Standing Committee (SC) is composed of 12 representatives of member
institutions. Three of those form the Executive Committee (EC).

AITVM is a foundation of 24 veterinary faculties and livestock institutes based
in Africa, Asia and Europe.


MANDATE OF AITVM

To improve human health and quality of life by means of increased and safe food
production in tropical regions through enhancement of research, training and
education in veterinary medicine and livestock production within the framework
of sustainable development.
