Much & Little is now closed for business. The outpouring of love from our community has been overwhelming; we cannot be more grateful for your support over the years. Beyond being a neighbourhood shop, Much & Little was a hub for local brands, designers, and small businesses to converge and showcase their creativity under one roof. It was a place where old friends would gather and new friendships were forged. It was more than a business, it was a community. Thank you for everything. Long gate for a window 8’ wide max, short gate for window or door 4’ wide max. Two of the support posts are 80” tall, one is 97” tall but could be cut down. September 11 • View on Instagram muchlittleshop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I sure will miss these faces 🥹 Since the beginning Much & Little was designed to be a place where people felt welcomed; where it was known as a shop that offered approachable, kind and knowledgeable customer service. As a business owner it can be hard to give up control - you want your people to take as much care and attention as you do, especially when you are not there. I have been lucky in that regard. Over the years, some pretty special people have put their time in at the shop, as exemplified by my current crew: Hannah, Anneliese and Lila. 🥰 A special shout out to Hannah who has been with us for 5 years (and is moving on to a wonderful new job next month that is perfect for her) - she has been my trusty right hand person, without whom things would have gone much less smoothly and been way less fun. 😍 Can you please give a hand to these wonderful people? They have helped M&L uphold its standards of kind, friendly, knowledgeable and approachable customer service. Join us at the shop along with @mercurialyvr @westofwoodward @xs_unified @supercrush @wearebaselayer @shortlistedco End of season markdowns, samples, overstocks… and in my case… everything must go! Bring your own bags and come prepared to support local shops and brands. If you are reading this far down the post, it will also be my last official day open to the public. It truly warmed my heart to see so many of you (and fit in a little visit between ringing through sales 😉). It felt like Christmas! If you’re a planner, now’s the time to pick some up.😉 September 3 • View on Instagram muchlittleshop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Came in to get some quiet work done while we’re closed. If you know the shop you’ll know how incredibly empty this is for us. We’re used to racks being so full you can hardly reach your hand in, every shelf being fully stocked, row on row. A friend once told me I am the square footage queen- and indeed our amazing little team truly maxed out this 750 square foot space with constant merchandising and moving things around so there was a cohesive flow throughout the shop. I’m not quite ready for my ugly cry (holding that back for now 🥹) but as we near our closing at the end of September I’ve been truly touched by how many people have told me how much they will miss the shop, what it has meant to them and that it will leave a hole in the community.
