FLOKI WARNS USERS AGAINST ONGOING AIRDROP SCAM Top MemeFi platform, Floki, has released a statement regarding an ongoing airdrop scam to protect users. The protocol warned about perpetrators seeking to defraud $FLOKI holders. In a recent tweet on March 2, the multi-chain platform debunked reports of any ongoing $FLOKI airdrop, stating that it is the work of scammers. Floki announced that users should endeavor to resist the urge to connect to any website and send tokens to participate in the airdrop. Floki is not conducting any airdrop at the moment. Additionally, if there was an airdrop or any event, the platform would share details on its official verified Twitter account. Floki is a leading memecoin on BNB Chain and the third largest by market capitalization in the blockchain industry. Its native $FLOKI token offers numerous utilities and is accepted by several merchants and payment services worldwide. The token is also tradable on different top-tier exchanges, including Bybit, OKX, and Kucoin. Given its wide adoption in the space, it's no surprise that scammers target the token. WEB3 Blockchain News ESPRESSO TO FURTHER DECENTRALIZATION IN INJECTIVE ECOSYSTEM By BSC News July 21, 2023 Espresso Systems and Injective are teaming up to bring decentralized rollups to the INJ network Announced on July 20, Injective and Espresso Systems are working together to provide decentralization for rollups built within the Injective ecosystem. Injective will leverage Espresso’s shared sequencer to ensure that scalability and speed is maintained, but now without paying the price of centralization issues. The first step will be a testnet integration with Cascade, the first interchain Solana SVM rollup within the IBC ecosystem. Layer-2 networks almost exclusively rely on centralized sequencers for the processing and ordering of transactions to be committed to the parent chain. Naturally, this has triggered discussion around centralization concerns and could be considered a bottleneck for the expansion of L2s. However, Espresso Systems, one of very few projects looking to address this problem, has developed its own sequencer that, by leveraging the Ethereum validator set, is able to provide rollups with a way of circumventing centralized-failure risks whilst avoiding any compromises on speed and functionality. What is Injective? Launched in Q4 of 2021, Injective is an interoperable layer-one blockchain. It features an emphasis on ease-of-development, typified by its array of toolkits and plug-and-play modules designed to make application creation efficient and flexible. Injective is backed by tier-one investors, such as Pantera and Jump Crypto, and has raised a total of $57 million, according to data from Crunchbase. Injective’s native token, INJ, boasts a market capitalization of $740 million, at time of writing, and is listed on top centralized exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase.
