I INTERVIEWED WITH A COMPANY WHERE I HIT IT OFF WITH THE HIRING MANAGER.

She said she was excited about my candidacy and passed me on to the next series
of rounds. I made it to the final round. All of the interviews went well. I sent
thank you notes. The hiring manager said I should hear from someone within the
week. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. I saw the position reposted on
Linkedin. I reached out to inquire about the status of my candidacy and so far
have not

MAKE SURE YOU’VE IDENTIFIED THE KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR LEADERSHIP
POSITIONS WITHIN YOUR ORGANIZATION.

Some common competencies include strategic thinking, decision-making,
influencing, communication and adaptability. Why? Because you’re being assessed
against specific competencies to determine your potential to develop and excel
in higher roles. Be certain that you are not only a woman who is a high

I NEED HELP ON HOW TO DEAL WITH AN ALL BOY'S CLUB AT WORK.

I've been at this new job nine months and I like it and want to stay. I've been
told I'm doing a good job and am about six months away from being promoted to
where I want to be. The two men who I answer to play golf with some of my other
male colleagues, make deals without my knowledge with outside males that affect
me in my job, accept lots of sports perks from these outside men, and you get
the idea. I'm

I JUST STARTED A NEW JOB LAST MONTH WHERE YOU ONLY MOVE UP BY APPLYING FOR A
JOB.

A job above me was open and I applied for it and got it after only being on the
job two weeks. An associate has been going around telling anyone who will listen
that I was not qualified for the higher position and that I must have done
something manipulative to get the promotion. She even reached to former
employees to tell them about the promotion. I have been told that I have a
defamation case. I have

HI EVERYONE,

I am really struggling now. Its been a whole year and a half applying to jobs
and I have quite literally gotten nowhere. Only one interview which put me on a
reserve list. I am at my wits end. I can't handle all these rejections without
getting feedback to understand where I am even remotely going wrong. I've
applied to over 500 jobs now and just nothing (I would appreciate it kindly if
you please don't say 500 is

I WAS IN A JOB FOR 7 MONTHS AND LEFT FOR A HIGHER PAYING TEMPORARY POSITION
WHICH IS ENDING SOON.

Should I leave it off my resume? The company was mad that I quit so I worry that
they will leave a bad reference if they are contacted for employment
verification.

MY COWORKER IS LEAVING....

Hi Friends! I lost my job in February, got a new job in March that I love (
great people, leadership, etc.) but my coworker who just recently got her
masters is leaving. I am super excited for her, but super sad that she is
leaving me. Her role is more intense, and she has been coaching/showing me how
to do things, so when she leaves nothing will be left behind. Her role will be
open, and I told her I was planning

I USED A WORD IN THE WRONG CONTEXT IN A MEETING AND THE SENTENCE DIDN’T MAKE
SENSE .

I’m literally embarrassed wondering what others are thinking about me after this
meeting, especially my bosses . I was stumbling on words and didn’t make sense .
I have some health issues and experience severe Brain fog fr time to time . I
can go from speaking eloquently to sounding like I never attended high school .
They don’t know this of course and part of my job is driving project meetings so
I’m concerned

HELLO, I AM NEW TO THIS GROUP AND NEW TO HR.

Currently doing a Cert IV and do some HR at work. Just wondering what peoples
thoughts are on performance reviews - trying to engage employees more and was
thinking of conducting an employee survey but wasn't sure where to start Thanks

I WAS WRITTEN UP FOR UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR, INCLUDING MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS
AND ACCUSATORY LANGUAGE.

Everything I said was an actual representation of my perspective. How do I
handle this in my rebuttal? How do I document the double-standard of my
leadership being able to determine that I’m making false statements, when our
director is making claims of situations that never occurred?

I don't think you are in a position to document a double standard. All you can
do is disagree with the Director 's statements.
