Book an appointment A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT US SO WE CAN SERVE YOU. 1 Plan to arrive at the hospital on time to enable you to complete the necessary registration and consultations as a comprehensive eye exam can take up to 3 hours. *** Timing may vary based on each individual’s circumstance. 2 Kindly be advised that a comprehensive eye exam may include dilation which will leave your vision blurry for 2 to 3 hours, hence It is advisable not to drive and have one person accompany you for the visit. 3 You will have separate consultations with an Optometrist and afterward with the Ophthalmology team. Feel free to ask the team of specialists any questions or concerns. 4 You could be referred to another unit for further evaluation e.g. investigations, to see a sub-specialist, or be advised on surgery, eyeglasses, and medication as may be required. 5 You are finally done and a follow-up appointment can be booked if required at any of the registration desks in the hospital before leaving.
