Crow holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies
from Iowa State University (1977) and a doctorate degree in Public
Administration (Science and Technology Policy) from the Maxwell School at
Syracuse University (1985). Prior to moving to Columbia in 1991, he was
Institute Professor of Technology Management and Director of the Institute for
Physical Research and Technology at Iowa State University.
