I AM AN ARMENIAN GAME DEVELOPER. IN 2022, I COMPLETED THE UNREAL ENGINE BEGINNER
COURSE AT WWW.GDA.AM. AFTER DEDICATING SIX MONTHS TO LEARNING NEW THINGS AND
MASTERING THE ENGINE'S TOOLS, I HAVE BEGUN WORKING ON AN EXCITING PROJECT.

EXPERIENCE

 1. Level Design Expertise: Over one year, I've improved my skills in level
    design within the Unreal Engine. I've created diverse and immersive
    environments for third-person action-adventure games, showcasing my ability
    to craft engaging and visually stunning worlds that enhance the player's
    experience.
 2. Game Mechanics Implementation: I've been deeply involved in implementing
    core game mechanics that drive player engagement and interaction. From
    character movement and combat systems to interactive puzzles and dynamic
    environments, I've contributed to creating engaging gameplay experiences.
 3. Understanding Player Experience: I deeply understand the player's
    perspective and have used this knowledge to craft levels and mechanics that

Currently Working as a Lead Level Designer

As a Lead Level Designer, I took charge of creating and enhancing game levels to
make them exciting and enjoyable. Here's a breakdown of what I did:

MANAGING THE TEAM

 1. Team Management:
     * Led a dynamic team of level designers, providing guidance, and feedback,
       and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the successful
       delivery of high-quality game levels.

 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
     * I Collaborated closely with artists, programmers, and writers to ensure
       seamless integration of design elements, maintaining a cohesive vision
       for the overall game experience.

 3. Project Planning:
     * It develops and maintains project schedules, identifies milestones and
       deadlines, and effectively manages resources to optimize workflow
       efficiency.

 1. Coming up with Ideas:
     * Tested ideas for game levels, making sure they matched the story and kept
       players hooked.

       playtesting sessions to refine and enhance levels, mechanics, and player
       engagement.

     * Designed and implemented innovative puzzles and challenges that not only

CONCLUSION

My role as a Lead Level Designer was characterized by doing these tasks
perfectly, innovative design thinking, and effective leadership. Through a
combination of strategic planning, creative execution, and collaboration, I
played a key role in delivering a memorable and immersive gaming experience.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

 * Expect to work closely with cross-functional teams, including artists,
   programmers, designers, and producers. Collaboration is a crucial aspect of
   game development, and I will likely be part of a team responsible for
   bringing a game to life. This will allow me to involve colleagues in
   playtesting, receiving feedback, and making necessary adjustments to improve
   the game's quality.
 * I will focus on creating and optimizing game levels. This includes designing
   environments, placing assets, scripting events, and ensuring a seamless
   player experience. Moreover, I will help programmers to implement gameplay
   features, using the blueprint system in Unreal Engine
 * My technical skills, including familiarity with the Unreal Engine, will be
   essential for my job. I will be responsible for using these tools effectively
   to create and optimize game content.
