I was highly intimidated by the process of becoming a new homeowner. In short, I
ended up with Kristen, and I told prospective homeowners that buying a house
with Kristen was exponentially more simple than purchasing my first car off the
lot. I was working with another realtor and not having much luck with finding my
"Cinderella" house. I contacted him about the home (I am now sitting in) when it
had been on the market for two days. I found it on Zillow, thought it was
perfect, but missed the open house happening that day. My realtor passed me on
to Kristen. She contacted me immediately, set up a viewing, and just like that,
I was in my house. Kristen taught me how to go with my intuition as a new
homeowner, but she also always steered me in the right direction. She told me to
go with my gut for the right house, never pressured me to buy, and answered
every question I had. She was very patient to me as first-time buyer, answering
every tiny question at had, and enthusiastically showed me the house multiple
times. Do not let her youthful appearance and enthusiasm deter you. She knows
her info. When I was having trouble with a lender, she steered me to a great one
immediately. I got a great interest rate and fantastic customer service. She is
always managing her contacts, working for you. She also knows a great deal about
home improvement from her own experience and freely offered advice on how to fix
things around the house in a practical way. What left the greatest impression on
me, however, was when I made my bid, she steered me in a way that was so
respectful to me as a first-time homeowner. She new exactly what she was doing.
I had a call within an hour that the owners had taken my first bid on a house on
the market for a very short time. Kristen also has a great reputation among her
fellow agents, strong working relationships inside and outside her agency, and
even leads employee trainings. I will be contacting Kristen again when it is the
time for my next big move. I couldn't have been happier with her.

Kristen was extremely helpful in our home buying process and very personable as
well. Even though we had a low budget, (so I know her commision could not have
been that great) she fully devoted her time to helping us reach our needs. She
is very responsive and would message us back almost immediately which was
crucial since we were in a hurry to get out of our lease. We highly recommend

We primarily worked with Kristen Long. She helped us buy a condominium for our
daughter, who is attending graduate school at the University of Illinois. We do
not live locally, so our initial communication with Kristen was via email and
Skype. She was very organised, listened to our needs, asked clarifying
questions, and sorted a viewing schedule for us that matched our specifications.
After finding a house and putting in an offer, the rest of the process also had
to be done remotely. Kristen communicated the process to us and was very helpful
with lining up an inspection, etc. She really went above and beyond to make sure

Kristen was such a pleasure to work with. Even while I was out of state, Kristen
continued to work with me during after hours to make an offer on a condo that
was a little over my budget. When that didn't work out, Kristen met with me as
soon as I was back home to start looking again. We went over my list but nothing
really appealed to me. To Kristen's credit, she suggested I look at what is now
my home even though it was listed at about $25k lower than what I had been
looking at because she was more concerned in finding a home that filled my needs
than the commission she would get. She knew what I was looking for and I love my
