for the design, analysis and technical documentation of Recycleye Robotics.

About Benedetta

Benny achieved a distinction in her Computer Science Master’s Degree from
Imperial College London, where she wrote her thesis with Recycleye on using
generative adversarial networks to produce synthetic images of waste items.
Having previously worked as an Associate at Bain & Company, she now works at
Recycleye to develop the machine learning operations pipeline for Recycleye
Vision.

About Yann

Yann holds over 6 years of experience on the full product development lifecycle.
He has been building humanoid robotic arms and now oversees Recycleye’s
hardware. Prior to joining Recycleye, Yann achieved Mechanical Engineering
degrees from Caltech, Geneva and Southampton universities, where he was awarded
numerous distinctions and prizes for his academic endeavours.

About Victor

Victor loves trash – so much so that he resigned from Goldman Sachs to start a
PhD on waste at Imperial College London, where he developed v1 of the Recycleye
algorithm. Possessing extensive international industry experience from his time
in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Houston and Brussels, Victor’s prior work includes
developing evolutionary algorithms and parametric models to optimise building
forms.

Using his previous experience as an industrial engineer specialising in
renewable design and bioengineering research, Tom now designs, builds, and tests
Recycleye Vision hardware to collect and report data from our clients’ sites.
Tom joined Recycleye after graduating with a First–Class Honours from Sheffield
University.

About Francisco

Francisco possesses over 5 years of experience as a software engineer in
cutting-edge start-ups. Having in-depth experience in cloud computing on
multiple platforms, he has also created and delivered multiple ETL data
pipelines for data ingestion from Amazon advertising and retail analytics APIs.
He now develops data and analytics solutions for Recycleye’s client’s needs,
building value-add on top of Recycleye Vision’s software.

About Peter

Having previously developed  brand–level vision systems for Ocado, Peter now
applies this expertise to removal chains instead of supply chains. He is
responsible for Recycleye’s technology strategy and oversees all the development
and dissemination of Recycleye’s solutions. Peter and Victor founded Recycleye
out of Peter’s garage in Bournemouth, after completing their studies together at
Imperial College London.

Seb possesses over 2 years of experience in computer vision R&D on the bleeding
edge. Before joining Recycleye, he completed his Mathematics degree at Trinity
College Cambridge. His passion towards developing meaningful technologies has
led him to train and develop Recycleye’s cutting-edge vision system to identify
waste items at a material, object and even brand-level.

Andrew works within the software team to forge the systematic relationship
between Recycleye Vision and Recycleye Robotics. Throughout his 25+ years in the
technology industry, he developed ground-breaking Edge AI vision applications on
rugged devices, in addition to designing new systems for robotic vehicles using
AI and deep learning.

Matt is responsible for the software behind Recycleye Robotics, developing the
performance monitoring of our robotic picker. He joined Recycleye after
graduating with a First–Class Honours in Computer Science at Lancaster
University.

About Isabelle

Using her prior experience in EU-wide R&D consultancy and integration of
standardisation in the innovation process, Izzy now leads Recycleye’s external
funding activities and co-ordinates participation in collaborative R&D projects.
She holds a Masters distinction in International Business Economics and
Management from KU Leuven.
