Since 2008, DEKRA has been publishing the European Road Safety Report every
year. Young people are at great risk in road traffic - especially as novice
drivers. According to the IHME Institute at the University of Washington, around
175,000 people aged between 15 and 24 were killed on the roads worldwide in
2019. This is why DEKRA has decided to devote its Road Safety Report 2022 to the
"Mobility of Young People".

We are pleased to invite you you to our presentation of the Road Safety Report
2022 at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European
Union in Brussels.

We are honored that Ms. Adina Vălean, European Commissioner for Transport, will
deliver a keynote speech at this year's event.

In addition to the presentation of the findings of this year's report by Jann
Fehlauer (Managing Director DEKRA Automobil GmbH), our CEO Stan Zurkiewicz
(DEKRA) will give a speech. The presentation will be followed by a discussion.

Furthermore, we are delighted to hand over our well-known Vision Zero Award to
the European city that has shown the highest degree of excellence in its
mitigation of road fatalities.
