ABOUT THE 5TH RANGER BATTALION, 75TH RANGER REGIMENT ARMA 3 MILSIM UNIT!


THE 5TH RANGER BATTALION, 75TH RANGER REGIMENT ARMA 3 MILSIM UNIT WAS FOUNDED IN
THE AUTUMN OF 2020. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A FUN AND ENJOYABLE REALISTIC
ENVIRONMENT FOR TACTICIANS AND MILITARY AND ARMA ENTHUSIASTS. WE FEEL, WE PLAY
ARMA THE WAY IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED! AS ARMA IS A MILITARY SIMULATOR AND WE
SIMULATE PARTS OF NOT ALL OF, THE UNITED STATES ARMY.

WE DO RECOGNIZE THAT THERE ARE THINGS IN THE SIMULATED WORLD/GAMING WORLD PEOPLE
JUST DO NOT WANT TO DO. BUT WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF ARMA/OPERATION FLASH POINT
EXPERIENCE WITHIN OUR LEADERSHIP STAFF. WE FEEL LIKE, WE HAVE CREATED A GOOD

PROFESSIONALISM

We promise to live up to the 7 Army Values. We mold everything around LDRSHIP!
All members are required to live by the 7 Army Values when they are engaged with
5th Ranger Battalion activities! Just like the Real 75th Ranger Regiment, we
have standards and we ad here to them. If a member cannot, he is removed from
their position, or removed from the Unit.

ALWAYS UP AND QUALITY SERVERS

We have certified and dedicated IT (Information Technology) personnel that are
apart of our S-6 Signal Support Shop whose mission is to insure the
availability, uptime, quality and to assist with the Security of our IT and
Server Infrastructure for your enjoyment!

SECURE ENVIRONMENT

Our S-2 Intelligence Support Shop’s main mission is to insure a safe and secure
environment. Knowing the threats that are out there on the internet, we make
sure that our members have a safe and fun and relaxing environment to play Arma
in!



PROPER TTPS

Here in the 5th Ranger Battalion, are AGINST reinventing the wheel! When it some
to Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) we try to stick as close to the
real world as possible. We do, however, know that Arma is a Simulator and cannot
simulator everything. So, we do have creative freedoms to change or reduce what
we do allowed by the game engine.

DEDICATED MEMBERS

We pride ourselves in having dedicated members who WANT to play arma and WANT to
learn more about the US Army. People who do not want to do either of these
things, quickly wash out or get RFSed (Released For Standards). We ONLY keep
likeminded people here. While we do recruit anyone within our recruiting
standards. Not will be allowed to stay!

A HOME AND A BROTHERHOOD/SISTERHOOD

We offer you the ability to meet new people! While meeting those new people, you
form a brotherhood/sisterhood and our goal is for you to become not only lethal
virtual rangers, but also best of friends! We require a cohesive environment,
and we cannot do that, if we are not friends or fighting towards a common goal!

SECOND LIEUTENANT BRUCE

Second Lieutenant Bruce is the Platoon Leader for 1st Platoon, Alpha Company,
5th Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment! He is the founder of the 5th Ranger
Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He is also a 42nd Air Assault Regiment veteran
and has expirence as a Regimental Executive Officer and lead the 42nd Air
Assault Regiment as a Company commander for 6 of its 10 years of activation. He
has over 18+ years expreince within the Arma MilSim Community!

STAFF SERGEANT UMATAMBO

Staff Sergeant Umatambo is the Acting Platoon Sergeant and the Alpha Squad
Leader for 1st Platoon, Alpha Company! He has been with the Unit since the
creation of the 5th Ranger Battaion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He is a 42nd Air
Assault Regiment veteran and has expirence as a Squad Leader and has 5+ years
experience within the Arma MilSim Community!

SERGEANT MITCHELL

Sergeant Mitchell is the Squad Leader for Bravo Squad, 1st Platoon, Alpha
Company! He has been with the Unit since the creation of the 5th Ranger
Battaion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He is a 42nd Air Assault Regiment veteran and
has experience as a Teamleader and has 4+ years experience within the Arma
MilSim Community!


OUR TEAMLEADERS!

CORPORAL NGUYEN

Corporal Nguyen is the Teamleader for Alpha Team, Alpha Squad, 1st Platoon,
Alpha Company! He has been with the Unit since the creation of the 5th Ranger
Battaion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He is a 42nd Air Assault Regiment veteran and
has experience as a Teamleader and has 4+ years experience within the Arma
MilSim Community! He is also the acting Forward Observer (FO) for 1st Platoon,
Alpha Company!

CORPORAL LIVELY

Corporal Lively is the Teamleader for Bravo Team, Alpha Squad, 1st Platoon,
Alpha Company! He is a 42nd Air Assault Regiment veteran and has expirence as a
Squad Leader and has many years experience within the Arma MilSim Community!

SPECIALIST GINGER

Specialist Ginger is the Teamleader for Bravo Team, Bravo Squad, 1st Platoon,
Alpha Company! He has been with the Unit since the creation of the 5th Ranger
Battaion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He was also found lurking in the woods at night
when we found him! His first leaderhsip expirence is with the 5th Ranger Bn.,
75th Ranger RGT and has 1+ years experience within the Arma MilSim Community!

PRIVATE FIRST CLASS MONTAG

PFC Montag is the Teamleader for Bravo Team, Bravo Squad, 1st Platoon, Alpha
Company!  He is a 42nd Air Assault Regiment veteran and has expirence as a Squad
Leader and has many years experience within the Arma MilSim Community!

WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO!

Airborne Static Line Jump

Members of A Co., 5/75th conduct training on Airborne Operations. These
concurrent jumps are used to maintain proficiency in Basic Airborne and Soldier
Skills!

Battle Drill 6: Room Clearing

Bravo Squad, 1st Platoon conducting training on BD#6 to refine their tactical
abilities in our custom built shoothouses!




Mission Highlight!

Rangers from 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, exfil from a training excersie via a
MH-47E commanded by an Aircrew from the 1st Medium Assault Helicopter Platoon
performing a pinnacle landing!

SOLDIER OF THE QUARTER!


CORPORAL NGUYEN

Corporal Nguyen has shown to not only be an OUTSTANDING RANGER, but also an
example! Corporal Nguyen plays a fundamental role within the daily operations of
Alpha Company, 5th Ranger Battalion. Without Corporal Nguyen's constaint
presistence with Unit Operations, Alpha Company would not be where it is today!

ACTIVE COMPONENT

Training Requirements
Active Duty or the Active Component are for members who want the full exprience!

RequiredRequired Training Commitment
If you are a part of the Active Component (AC) you will be apart of a team and
while on a team, you must train with the members of your team! AC members have 3
total days but 2 required they must meet with their Squad/Platoon/Company to
train on Soldier Skills!

Minimum Required training commitment
2 Days a week. Fridays and Saturdays.
Fridays are Unit training days. Saturdays are Operation days.



2 DAYS PER WEEK MINIMUM

UP TO 12 DAYS PER MONTH

Enlist into the Active Component


RESERVES COMPONENT

Training Requirements
The Reserves or the Reserves Component are for members who want to commit half
the time! But still experience the unit!

Required Training Commitment
If you are a part of the Reserve Component (RC) you will be required to make at
least 1 day a week. We highly recommend you make 2 days a week like active
component members as that will make you that much more lethal. But your
requirement will be set at 1 day a week.

Minimum Required training commitment
1 Day a week. Friday or Saturday.
Fridays are Unit training days. Saturdays are Operation days.

UP TO 8 DAYS PER MONTH

Enlist into the Reserve Component


160TH SOAR

Training Requirements
The 160th SOAR Component are for members who want to be aviators! Our 160th Only
flies Rotary Wing Aircraft for now. They will also fly the C-130 or C-17 during
Airborne operations when the mission requires it.

Required Training Commitment
If you are a part of the 160th SOAR. You are a part of the Active Component
(AC)! You will be required to make at least 2 days a week. But, when you meet
your flight time requirements and have successfully qualified on an Aircraft,
your required time will be 2 days every other week but once a week for
operations.



2 DAYS PER WEEK MINIMUM

UP TO 8 DAYS PER MONTH AFTER A/C QULIFICATION
