WHY SHOULD I RECYCLE

Large appliances contain recoverable metals and getting them back into the
supply chain reduces the need for new raw materials. Also, many large appliances
contain refrigerants: a group of chemicals that collectively are called
ozone-depleting substances. By responsibly recycling your large appliances, you
ensure that any ozone-depleting substances will be handled and disposed of
carefully by licensed professionals.

There are certified drop-off sites that accept major appliances all across BC.
There is no charge when you drop off your appliance at a MARR collection site
and you can rest assured knowing your large appliances will be recycled
responsibly.
