THE WELCOME TO AMERICA PROJECT KNOWS THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT TO
BEST WELCOME AND RESOURCE REFUGEES FOR FASTER, FULLER INTEGRATION. IN TRUTH, WE
ARE SIMPLY A CONDUIT FOR COMMUNITY KINDNESS. WE HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF VOLUNTEER
ROLES (SEE LINKS). AND CONSISTENT WITH OUR INCLUSIVE CULTURE, WE WELCOME
VOLUNTEERS OF ALL AGES, ALL GENDERS, ALL ORIGINS, ALL TALENTS, FAITHS AND
PHILOSOPHIES. SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, CLUBS, INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES,
NEIGHBORHOODS, SCOUTS, PLACES OF WORK AND WORSHIP, ALL WORKING AS ONE. TOGETHER,

SATURDAY WELCOMES



Deliver furniture and household items to newly arrived refugee family homes. You
will have opportunities to set up some of the household items and chat with our
new friends. The Saturday Welcomes are an amazing heartwarming experience to
help connect our newcomer friends with critical resources and warm welcomes!

Welcome With Us!


SORT / ORGANIZE DONATIONS



Help out with different projects in the warehouse! You will be packing items for
the families we will Welcome on Saturday and help to sort donated items. These
steps are vital to our operation, you will be a huge part of the Welcome!



Organize With Us!


BIKE REPAIR



All levels of repair experience are welcome, from beginning to expert. Bikes
mean greater freedom for our newcomer friends: Jobs, education and connection to
community is in easier reach. We will be hosting outdoor during the Fall and
indoors during the Summer. The bikes that you repair will help us provide supply
transportation to newcomer refugees in our community.

Help organize and distribute gently used clothing, shoes, accessories and
children’s books in an atmosphere of kindness and friendship!
