The Details

Join this session and you will learn the cloud operating model and how to
achieve the fastest path to value in a modern, multi-cloud datacenter.

This is followed by a workshop which will broadly showcase the key concepts with
Consul's Enterprise Service Mesh, including:

- Multi-cloud, multi-region, multi-runtime

- Securely connecting containerised, virtual machine, cloud-native services
- Extending the Service Mesh to legacy, traditional or physical platforms
- Multi-tenancy and centralising Consul secrets
- Observability and tracing

We will use several complimentary HashiCorp tools such as Terraform, Vault and
Nomad.

Please note, this is not a comprehensive tutorial on how to run Consul
Enterprise.

What you will need:

• A laptop that is wi-fi capable

• Familiarity with concepts behind service discovery, service registration, and
services meshes

NOTE: This session will be delivered in English over Zoom and whilst anyone is
welcome to join, it is intended for individuals in Australia, New Zealand &
Singapore timezones.

We look forward to seeing you

Learn more about Zero Trust Security

The migration to cloud means teams and organizations are rethinking how to
secure their applications and infrastructure. Security in the cloud is being
recast from static and IP-based – defined by a perimeter – to dynamic and
identity-based – with no clear perimeter. This idea is known as zero trust
security.
