   ABOUT KATELYN
   
   Katelyn is a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, Licensed Professional
   Counselor in CT and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA. She graduated
   Antioch University New England where she earned a Masters of Arts degree in
   Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling. She studied psychomotor development of
   children, along with focuses on the intellectual/developmental disability and
   autistic communities, and older adults. Katelyn has been providing dance
   experiences to Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut for 15 years as
   well as working in various outpatient, day habilitation and residential
   programs.
   
    
   
   She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in Disability
   Studies from Springfield College where she focused her studies on
   choreography, modern dance and improvisation, and pedagogy. Katelyn teaches
   dance classes to all ages at several studios.
   
    
   
    
   
   
   WHAT IT IS AND IS NOT
   
   Katelyn's services are unique in that they are not focused on dance skills,
   dance technique, or preparation for performance.  
   
    * Expressive Movement focuses on individual personal improvement, life
      enrichment, relationship, and self-discovery.
    * Dance/Movement Therapy is psychotherapy where we use movement as the
      primary way to engage in therapy.
   
   If you are interested in dance skills, technique improvement, or adaptive
   dance classes, please reach out to these locations where Katelyn is currently
   teaching.

   HOW IT WORKS
   
   Choose a group or indiviudal offerring that best fits you or reach out to
   create something unique! For Expressive Movement programs, Katelyn will
   travel to your program or buisness and can occur weekly, every other week, or
   monthly. Dance/Movement Therapy sessions take place in KIllingly, CT and can
   occur weekly or every other week.
