LATEST NEWS…


THE SHOP HAS A NEW TELEPHONE NUMBER 07354 152 447

This number will be the telephone point of contact for the shop during
construction of the new extension. It can also receive SMS (text) messages. 
Emails and messenger will work as before, see
https://broughtonvillagestore.co.uk/contact/.  We will let you know when we can
receive WhatsApp communications. Our previous landline number (830465) has been
disconnected


WE HAVE CROSSED THE ROAD!

It’s been a long time in planning but we have now moved Broughton Village Store
to temporary premises next to the Village Hall, on the other side of the A701.
The temporary shop is already full of all your favourite items, and will be
stocked with our regular deliveries as before. Jen and staff look forward to
seeing you!
 
The shop hours remain the same:
Monday – Saturday 7am – 6pm                                            
Sunday 9am – 2pm

PRE-AWNING

 
The move is to allow the construction of a new extension, with new storage and
office facilities all on one level. This is a complex logistical build and is
likely to take the rest of the year to complete. There will inevitably be
disruption to the pavement, roadway, and properties closest to the building
work, which we will endeavour to keep to a minimum. We have already spoken to
many of those living near the shop, but if you have any concerns or queries
please feel free to get in touch. There will also be occasional updates on
Facebook.

The shop was purchased by Upper Tweed Community Enterprise Ltd, a Community
Benefit Society registered with the FCA no.7979. UTCE acknowledges amazing
support from funders including 250 shareholders who between them contributed
