Dear PRORISC community
We expect ALL PhD Students to submit an abstract. See under the tab ("hamburger
menu" top left of this page): "Call for Posters - Presentations". Because this
was maybe unclear, the
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 14, 23.59 CET
I would like to welcome you to participate in the PRORISC 2018 which will be
held 7-8 June 2018 at the university of Twente, Enschede.The PRORISC starts with
a plenary talk on Thursday morning and will be followed by poster sessions, oral
presentations and exciting workshops by the PhD students. We also present 3
awards, Best student poster, Best flash presentation and Best oral presentation.
We are delighted to announce the following keynote speaker: Bernard Tenbroek,
Mediatek - UK.
About PRORISC: PRORISC is an annual conference on Integrated Circuit (IC)
design, which is organized within the three technical Dutch universities Twente,
Delft and Eindhoven. The conference is organized by the PhD students and is
intended for the student to expand their network and share their research ideas
which provides a unique opportunity for future collaborations. The PRORISC was
formerly an independent conference as well but later became a track of ICT.OPEN.
However, as of 2018 we decided to organize the conference independently again in
order to have the conference on a smaller scale and thus to better serve the
interest of IC-design researchers. Each year one of the technical universities
will be responsible for the organization of the conference. In 2018 the PRORISC
will be held on the beautiful campus of university of Twente. In 2019 in Delft
and in 2020 in Eindhoven.
There will be no proceedings nor any publications on-line. Students may present
already published work but can also feel safe to share their initial ideas
without publishing them officially. We encourage all PhD students to submit a
poster/paper to facilitate interactions among the students.
So don’t miss this great networking opportunity and I look forward to seeing
you at PRORISC 2018 in Twente!
