BEAUTIFUL, EASY-TO-MANAGE WEBSITES FOR NONPROFITS MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

NOW YOU CAN STOP WORRYING ABOUT UPDATES AND FOCUS MORE ON YOUR MISSION TO MAKE
THE WORLD BETTER.

Your site will be designed from the ground up to support how your organization
works, instead of trying to retrofit your mission to a generic template.

Explore our Approach

YOUR WEBSITE ISN'T MODERN ART.

Will it look nice? Of course...but it doesn't end there.

Your nonprofit's website will work well for the people who need it and the
people who manage it. Otherwise, what's the point?

> “Our new website has streamlined our internal processes, eliminating mountains
> of paperwork. We are thrilled.”

Aimee Lam, Executive Director
Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County

WE PRIORITIZE:

THOUGHTFUL AND COLLABORATIVE DESIGN.

We don't play guessing games. Every project includes a thorough user experience
(UX) research phase where we collaborate directly with your supporters and staff
to see how we can make their lives easier.

INCLUSIVE, ACCESSIBLE EXPERIENCES.

We place a strong focus on building ethical, human-centered websites for the
nonprofits we work with. Every site meets or exceeds the latest digital
accessibility standards, and we work hard to create welcoming online spaces for
people of all backgrounds. People come first.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY DEVELOPMENT.

Did you know that every website has a carbon footprint? We work to minimize it
by helping you pick a host that uses green energy and ensuring the sites we
build are fast and user-friendly. We offset the rest (and then some) by planting
trees for every nonprofit website we launch.

Why doesn't this site have an annoying cookie notice?

WE BELIEVE PRIVACY IS A HUMAN RIGHT.

We don't set any unnecessary cookies, so we don't need a cookie notice.

While we do track activity on the site, it's anonymous, cookie-free, and we
don't share that information with anyone. (Hard to believe? We can prove it.)
Mostly, we want to make sure everything is useful and working correctly.

If you'd rather not have your activity tracked on this site, just click the
button below and we'll exclude your browser completely.

You currently are notare excluding your visits.

Exclude my visits Wait, why is this important?

Cookies are little bits of information stored in your browser. They are set by
the sites you visit. Some cookies are necessary and innocent—for example, if you
close a popup or banner announcement, the site might set a cookie to remember
not to show it to you again for a while. These cookies don't need a cookie
notice, because they're anonymous and necessary for you to use the site.

Other cookies are optional but functionally necessary, like the cookies set by a
site when you log in and want the site to remember you next time. Sometimes,
these cookies need a cookie notice, but the cookie is only used on that site.

Many sites use analytics or marketing tracking software to see what you do on
their website. While this kind of information is really helpful to make design
and strategy decisions, sometimes the software can overreach and track more than
they need. Some big-name analytics software sets cookies that persist across
sites, which means that they can track their behavior all across the web,
including on searches and on social media. These cookies always need a cookie
notice.

Many sites that set these kinds of cookies don't realize how invasive they are
being, and often don't have access to that data—it is usually hoarded and sold
by the parent company for what's called "marketing retargeting", which is how
you can search for something and then your cousin gets an ad for the same
product. Creepy.

We don't do that at Lucid Fox. Our analytics are from Plausible, a
privacy-friendly and minimal alternative to the big names.
