It's been a while since the last writing contest, and we are very excited to
host this one! This contest is about Across Protocol (ACX), a cross-chain token
bridge that transfers value between mainnet Ethereum and L2s. Across simplifies
the user experience by ensuring that tokens can be transferred quickly and with
minimal fees, making it an attractive choice for DeFi users, traders, and
developers alike.

It is secured by UMA’s decentralized optimistic oracle, and helps users to
transfer tokens between Ethereum (the mainnet) and various L2 networks, helping
users to move assets between these ecosystems seamlessly; L2s include OP Network
/ Optimism Mainnet, which might interest Publish0x users!

The prize pool for this contest is $1,500, consisting of $1,000 in $USDC rewards
+ $500 in $ACX rewards!

INTENTS-BASED INTEROPERABILITY

An intent is a type of order where a user specifies an outcome instead of an
execution path. Intents can be single-chain, or cross-chain where the user's
desired outcomes is on a different chain than input assets. Read more in the

ACROSS+

Across+ uses cross-chain bridge hooks to access users and capital from other
chains, eliminating the need for multichain deployment. Across+ uses an order
standard that specifies a cross-chain limit order plus protocol action(s) to
execute on destination.

ERC-7683

ERC-7683 standardizes how these crosschain interactions are expressed as
intents, enabling seamless connectivity between Ethereum mainnet, L2s, and

2. CONTEST DEADLINE: SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES BETWEEN TODAY, AND MONDAY, 16TH OF

The total rewards prize pool consists of $1,000 in $USDC and $500 in $ACX. The
rewards will be distributed as follows:

 * Prize pool to be split between top posts is $1,100: 900 in $USDC + 200 in
   $ACX rewards! The prize pool will be split between ~8 - 20 winners, but the
   exact number will depend on overall and comparative post quality.
 * Lucky winners (authors who haven't won any other award): $50 in $USDC
   rewards.
 * Prizes for those participating in the social media / Twitter portion of the
   contest: $50 in $USDC rewards.
 * EXTRA REWARDS IN $ACX GIVEAWAY! $300 in $ACX, to be distributed via
   #community-contributions channel in Across Discord via tip.cc! There are
   three ways to win even more rewards in $ACX: 1. Use the Across Protocol
   bridge and share the experience in #community-contributions channel in Across
   Discord 2. Share your post from this contest in Across Discord! 3. All users
   welcome! Simply join the #community-contributions channel in Across Discord,

HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE PAID?



The winners will be announced a couple of weeks after the contest is over. Here
is how the rewards will be distributed to qualifying users:

 * Rewards in $USDC will be sent to the winners will be sent their rewards
   directly to their Publish0x accounts, and will be able to withdraw them from
   here.
 * Rewards in $ACX will be distributed by Across Protocol team either via
   #community-contributions channel in Across Discord via tip.cc OR directly to
   the users Optimism Network address.

*Rewards are sent over Optimism Network / OP Mainnet, and Ethereum Layer 2.

Proof that we pay can be seen by checking Publish0x payout address on the
