Hermann has more than 43 years’ experience in the financial industry having
started his career at the Swiss National Bank dealing in Swiss government debts
and implementation. This was followed by senior roles at Citicorp Investment
Bank then as CEO / COO of Morgan Stanley Switzerland for over 13 years.

In 2004, he established the new wealth management entity of Helvetica in Geneva
and Zug and remained for 8 years before moving to Bahrain as a senior member of
The Family Office group.

He is passionate about implementation of streamlined, process-oriented
platforms. Something he has excelled at throughout his career and roles.

Hermann is fluent in 4 languages and is the co-General Manager of Stiftung
Tobias-Haus, a home for adults with special needs.

KARIM ATALLAH

FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER



After 27 years in the banking industry with UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston and
Credit Suisse, Karim founded RANES Capital Partners AG in 2019.

Having spent the majority of his career in the “Global Markets” divisions
covering Macro Products, Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Interest Rates and
Equities in addition to a long stint leading his banks’ hedge funds coverage
efforts in Switzerland, he then moved to the International Wealth Management
Division of Credit Suisse in 2016 to lead its Emerging Europe’s multi-asset
class investment portfolios and tactical solutions’ group focusing on the
largest strategic Ultra High Net Worth Clients.

He has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from
the University of London and speaks several languages fluently including
English, French, Arabic and German.
