DIAMOND DRILLING

EFFICIENT AND NON-VIBRATORY METHOD OF FORMING HOLES

A form of core drilling which uses a drill with a diamond drill bit to create
precisely measured holes. It is ideal for creating openings in a range of
materials including tarmac, brick work and reinforced concrete.

HYDRAULIC BURSTING

MINIMAL PERCUSSIVE NOISE

Helps minimise breaking of reinforced concrete. Can be used to split concrete or
rock formations into smaller pieces so they are more manageable and creates less
noise pollution and vibration.

DIAMOND TRACK AND WALL SAWING

FAST AND HIGHLY ACCURATE

The most versatile, efficient and precise method for creating openings in
reinforced concrete and masonry structures. Perfect for creating:

 * Door and Window Openings 
 * Lift Shaft Openings 
 * Vent Openings 
 * Staircase Removal
 * Demolition Lines 

WALL AND FLOOR CHASING

FAST, COST EFFECTIVE AND DUST-FREE.

An effective technique that is used for trimming neat channels in masonry or
concrete structures (chases). This method results in clean and accurate channels
for pipework and cables.

DIAMOND FLOOR SAWING

INEXPENSIVE, QUICK, EFFICIENT AND DUST FREE.

The most effective way to cut through horizontal reinforced concrete, asphalt
and granite surfaces. It uses a large spinning, diamond-tipped circular blade to
create clean cuts and straight lines through hard surfaces.

ROBOTIC DEMOLITION

SAFE AND CONTROLLED

Remote controlled demolition robots provide a fast and safe form of demolition.
Compact, agile and powerful, with a wide range of attachments which can be
utilised such as hammers, crunching jaws and digging buckets. Ideal for removal
of strong rooms, staircases and to form holes in walls and floors.


CONCRETE SAMPLING & TESTING



Inspection and analysis of hardened concrete samples at UKAS Accredited Concrete
Testing Laboratory. Testing is carried out to British and European Standards,
and includes:

 * Carbonation depth
 * High Alumina cement identification
 * Cement content
 * Concrete strength

At Direct Drilling and Sawing Services the health and safety of our staff is our
highest priority and we take our responsibility of care to our operatives and
those working around them extremely seriously.

 

From the PPE we provide to the methodology, we plan each individual task
minimise risk and get everyone home safely.

 

Through good training and Health and Safety management, we aim to provide the
safest working environment on all sites we are present on.

 

TRAINING

Any required training needs are identified and making sure we conform to
recognised NVQ Lvl2 Standards. Our operatives receive specialist training from
other C.I.T.B recognised training providers in the following sectors:

 * PASMA training
 * Asbestos awareness
 * Remote demolition robot
 * Manual handling
 * Confined Space training 
 * SSSTS training
