Atlanta is the South’s shining star and one of the most exciting places in the country. We’re a diverse, vibrant city filled with exciting outdoor events all year round. Our office plays the important role of making sure the great events that come to Atlanta have all the proper permits and communicate with the hosting neighborhood to operate safely and effectively. We also act as an internal and external resource to the event community on overall event coordination, permitting, and management. MOSE serves several functions on a day-to-day basis, including, but not limited to: * processing and issuing outdoor event permits * troubleshooting issues in the event permit process * updating and maintaining the MOSE Calendar, the easiest way to see all events submitted to MOSE * organizing the Mayor's signature events, programs and initiatives Whether you'd like to determine if your event needs a permit, see why Atlanta is a prime event location, or apply for your permit, we hope that this site will serve as your one-stop resource for information and guidance to event permitting in Atlanta. Our FAQ section should cover all of your questions, but please feel free to contact our office via email at specialevents@atlantaga.gov or by phone at 404.330.6741 with any questions or comments.
