THE PRACTICAL ENGLISH TEACHER




I'm like you in many ways... I have felt fear and discomfort learning a
language. I couldn't speak enough or understand a lot when I chatted with my
Grandma in Mexico. One year of learning mandarin and I didn't even know how to
make a sentence by myself.



It took years of embarrassment to finally see the flaws in the way I was
learning. The pandemic led me to teaching English. It was finally my chance to
give  the learning experience that I WISH I had when learning Spanish and
Mandarin. I became FRUSTRATED that schools didn't teach the real-life, natural,
useful daily life language that we ACTUALLY need. They didn't even teach it in a
way to help us rememebr. So I learned from professionals, took courses and did
LOTS of experimenting to really figure it out.



As an American teacher (from Texas!), my philosophy is all about giving you the
tools, the mindset, and the USEFUL knowledge that will actually get you where
YOU WANT to go. If you are a beginner, intermediate learner, or even an advanced
