IS IT LEGAL TO OWN AN ELECTRIC BIKE?


Owning an electric bike is legal in the United States. Federal regulations limit
an electric motor power to 750W. The speed limit is 20 mph on flat terrain by
using the throttle mode solely. Bear in mind that these regulations apply to
public roads and trails only. You can ride an e-bike that doesn’t conform to

WHAT ARE THE DISADVANTAGES OF ELECTRIC BIKES?


The two main disadvantages are higher cost and heavier weight. In comparison to
conventional bicycles, e-bikes tend to be more expensive due to electric parts
and high-end software. Besides, electric bikes are heavier. The electric motor
and the battery are the chief sources of extra weight. Heavier weight can be an
inconvenience if you have to lift your e-bike onto a rack, for example.

HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY OF AN ELECTRIC BIKE LAST?


The lifespan of an e-bike battery goes from two to five years. The main factor
that determines the battery lifespan is the quality of construction. Our
high-end battery is designed for 300 charging cycles. However, misuse and lack
of care can reduce the lifespan drastically.


CAN I RIDE AN ELECTRIC BIKE WITHOUT PEDALING?


Some electric bikes have a throttle mode, which allows riding without pedaling.
The throttle mode is useful when you need a break or want to go faster and
further without using pedal assist.
