I've sent at least half a dozen emails between this company and Europcar - they pass the blame between companies. Not only was I charged this "deposit" by AirportRentals, the price I had to pay at the counter was more than I was quoted and I had a different vehicle to what my booking said. 1 star is probably an inflated rating. If I could give a zero, I would have. We collect a partial amount of the total payment (deposit) at the time of booking to secure your rental vehicle, and the remaining amount will be paid at the counter during pick-up. However, in most cases cancellations 24-72 hours before pick-up result in a non-refundable deposit, depending on the rental company you are hiring from. This information is available to our customers at the time of booking and can also be found in your rental terms or on the confirmation voucher that was sent to you for review.
