Is it safe to book through HousingAnywhere? What are the benefits of using the
platform?

As soon as you agree with an advertiser and they accept you as a tenant, you can
initiate the safe payment procedure. 



Some of the advantages of using our payment system are: 

 1. Peace of mind: HousingAnywhere.com provides many safeguards to protect you
    from being scammed. If you pay outside HousingAnywhere.com, you are exposed
    to fraud risks, such as money-transfer scams.
    

 2. Secure payment: You do not transfer your payment to the advertiser's account
    without seeing the room. HousingAnywhere keeps your money safe until 48
    hours after the move-in date (as registered on the platform).
    

 3. Online booking: Book your next home before you arrive in your new city. You
    save on the cost of a few weeks in a hotel, meetings with agencies, visits,
    and administrative procedures. You just have to unpack your suitcase in a
    furnished room!
    

 4. A guarantee that the room will be as advertised in the listing: When you
    move into your room, you have 48 hours to check it and to notify
    HousingAnywhere if there are any problems. If the room or the rental terms
    are not as stated in the listing:
    
     * If you paid a Tenant Protection fee, we'll refund you the first month's
       rent and the fee.
    
     * If you paid for a subscription, we'll refund you the first month's rent.
       The subscription fee is non-refundable.
       

 5. Get your new address several months in advance: when going on exchange
    abroad, universities may ask you to have already an address to validate your
    admission. You may also need an address to get your visa if you come from a
    country outside the European Union.
