WELCOME TO POSITIVE FUTURES

We are a transformative non-profit organisation dedicated to reshaping the world
of employment.
Through strategic partnerships with employers, we pave the way for adults with
learning disabilities to excel in the workforce.
Our commitment extends beyond placement – we provide personalised guidance to
both employers and participants, fostering an environment of growth,
inclusivity, and success.

WHY WE DO IT

People with learning disabilities in the UK face significantly lower employment
rates compared to the general population. In the UK fewer than 5% of adults with
learning disabilities are in paid employment.
Employers who actively work to include individuals with learning difficulties
often experience positive outcomes.
We want to bring these positive outcomes to all employers.

WE WORK WITH THE EMPLOYER TO ESTABLISH CLEAR PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS FROM THE
START AND ENSURE THAT THE PARTICIPANT CAN PICK UP THE TASKS REQUIRED OF THEM TO
MAKE SURE THAT PRODUCTIVITY IS NOT AFFECTED.





HOW WE KEEP IT FREE

Our funders and partners are the people who allow us to do what we do, and their
support means that we can continue to offer our services for free to
organisations and individuals.
Our in-work Job Coaching can be funded through Access to Work and allows us to
support and train individuals within a role.
Our grant funding allows us to work with other organisations and employers,
offering continued support.
Our funders include the National Lottery, Leeds Community Foundation, UnLtd,
Arnold Clarke and Coop.
