Why can I not use my card at Walmart of all places? I’m trying to use my
Christmas gift for $91.03 off a $100 gift card and the transaction is
denied. I’ve tried to run it as a debit with the pin I set. Denied. Run it
as a credit. Denied. What security features are built into this card so
you can hold onto the money instead of me being able to make my purchase

$15.99 from the card and I had to pay the additional $27+ for my purchase.

I gave a $100 gift card as a Christmas present and it when person tried to

told that the card # had been stolen in October and people had tried to
use it numerous times. Why would a card known to be stolen still be on

back on my drivers license and card would be activated. This was done on
1/06, again on 1/19 and last time on 2/07/22. Person at 888# says there is
no record my faxes were received. Today was told to download same info.
Website times out with an error multiple times. When connects I don’t see
where to download information. I am still out $100 I paid for a stolen
give card that no one seems concerned about replacing for me….only says

several representatives and they advised that the card had been
compromised prior to being activated/used and that I had to send in a copy
of my license, a copy of the card (although they already had the number),
my phone number and best time to call. They said they would register &

BEWARE I BOUGHT A LARGE NUMBER OF $500 Prepaid Visa cards when I tried to

declined I left the store & called the customer service number on card &
found out that 4 out of those 5 cards had been used in California at a

repeatedly got a message that something had gone wrong. I called the
customer service number on the back of the card. The woman who answered my
call had a very strong accent. We were able to communicate enough that she
was able to verify that the card number was accurate. But when she tried
to register the card for me, I could not understand what she was saying. I
had to end the call. You have 48 hours to get this straightened out. My
next phone call will be to the Office of the Ohio Attorney General.

My daughter received a new in the package gift card with receipt from her
grandmother who lives in another state. The card does not work. The
website to check the balance on the back of the card says its not valid, I
tried logging in from several computers.
I called the number listed on the back of the card. The customer service
rep told me that the card is registered to someone else and that I would
have to send in “proof of ownership” to use the card.
ITS A GIFT CARD GIVEN TO A CHILD AS A GIFT.
I believe this company is a scam. After posting this I’ll be reporting
them to the BBB and calling the store the card was sold from advising that

We have a Visa debit gift card that when trying to get a balance on it, we
can’t get the number to be recognized on your site. And we forgot our pin
# to use it. Tried to change that but the card is not being recognized.

number with the 3 digit code on back, my name and the purchasers name.
What I was told I do not have it the credit card number of the person that
purchased it for me. Are you kidding me????? Since when does a visa gift
card have to be verified with the origiinal purchasers credit card number?
This is a scam. My brother lost $100 in purchasing this for me.

I tell you why this is so difficult to get a balance: Banks make a great
deal of money on unused gift card balances. So, why make what should be a
very simple task easy when the profit motive states that if customers know
their balance, they just might use it; customers who do not know the
balance are more likely to neglect the use of their cards.

issues with my bank right now. I was charged $5.95 to use it then put
$100.00 on it I tried to pay my phone bill with it, and it wouldn’t accept

I have been dealing with this company since May 2022 and still have not
received my new card with my $$ that was hacked. I got this as a gift card
from friends since I have cancer and am going through chemo. I went to use
the card at a restaurant only to find out most of the money was gone. I
reported it immediately, jumped through their hoops and sent in my
required proof of ownership, 3 times. It took them forever to even start a
dispute. Finally on August 1st they said the dispute was resolved in my
favor, still no gift card. I’ve called so many time, now they’re saying
they’re waiting on the merchant to reply and that the dispute is still
open. I say scam. Otherwise I’d have my $122.55 and not e wasting my time
calling these people.

I bought a $50 dollar card on 7/22/2022 and used it for the first time on
7/26/2022. I went to a speedway and got $17.00 worth of gas. I then went
to Walmart which is about a half a mile away to get some food and it
wouldn’t work. I then went to McDonald’s a little latter thinking it was
Walmart’s card reader messing up, but it didn’t work at McDonald’s either.
I finally went back to a Kroger because I purchased it at different
Kroger. It didn’t work there also. I called the number on the back of the
card and it said I have 0.00 balance. I don’t know where my $33.00 went.

Will not accept card # on login. Card will not go through when I try to
use it. This has been the biggest runaround ever! Looks like they are
collecting a lot of money on these cards because you can’t redeem them.
I’m sure there have been plenty of people that have just given up. They
tell you due to a high call volume you need to call back and then hang up
on you when you call customer service.

This Visa card was purchased 4-15-2022, your site will not allow me to
register it and Iwhen try to use it at a merchant it decline. The card
purchase amount was $60.00 nothing has been used. I when back to Harris
Teether where the card was purchased they said Prepaidgiftbalance guys was
a third party vendor and I had to reach out to you. They understood my
frustration along with the many other complaints they have received. I
have been trying to call for over a month and the hold times is very long
only for no representative never to answer. Harris Teether said they
provide good customer service to their customers and may have to
reconsider selling Visa gift in their establishment due to amount of
complaints that they are receiving. Your on line portal does work! I look
to having this issue resolved soon!

I talked to someone at prepaidgiftbalance Customer Service and they tell
me they will send a new card in the mail. So we got a replacement card
yesterday 5-27-2022 with my name on it. We tried to register the new card
on prepaidgiftbalance.com and someone used it at Albertsons on 5-18-2022
for $99.95.
That prepaidgiftbalance phone number is a joke. I call that number from 12
P.M to 5 P.M. I was on hold a lot and 5 representatives hung up on us. A
few times it’s transferred to ReliaCard ( AKA U.S. Bank ReliaCard) which
tells you there are 1000 customers in front of you waiting for a
Representative, I call back then 185 customers waiting for a
representative, and I call back 216 customers in front of you.
When I did get a representative from overseas they ask for 8 digit number
on the back. Which the new card does not have and they hang up on you. The
in-store Visa card has a barcode on the back. The one sent by Customer
Service does not. After the 5th hung up from the representative I ask for
a Supervisor. She helps me but I’m denied supervisor again. I have to
refer to the 8-digit number on the in-store purchased card to get
assistance.
She said that I can dispute the charges that are made. So I answer some
questions over the phone then she tells me I have to Mail the Card Holder
at PO Box 551617 Jacksonville, FL 32255 or fax it at 855-532-8180 if I
want to have the disputed charge reversed. If we Don’t do that we get
nothing. It’s a big scam that cardholders have to go through because their
card numbers were compromised before purchasing. If it’s a inside job they
can find out when the cards are instantly activated and use the funds.
These cards should be pulled from retail stores.

that they would pull them from the shelves is by receiving complaints like
me calling in. She thanked me for taking the time to call and letting them
know about my experience with the card.
I also wrote to Top Class Action. They file law suit on customers behalf.

are rendered inaccessible for online purchases owing to a morass of online
registration layers. U.S. Bank, What are you doing with the float on these
funds unclaimable funds? This feels like a CFPB moment of closer

How to register card for online purchaseS and all it needs to REGISTER
with a zip code. Here’s how to do it:
**Go to website listed on either front/back of card.
**UNDER FIRST TIME USER- PUT THE 16 DIGIT CARD #.
**OPEN THE SETTINGS ON TOP LEFT– REGISTER CARD- FILL OUT INFO.
**OPEN SETTINGS- PROFILE- EDIT- FILL REQUIRED INFO.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ADDED A ZIP CODE TO CARDS REGISTRATION ANYWHERE
ALONG THE LINE OF INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE.

I will never buy a gift card at Ralph’s again although I’ll always shop
there. This prepaidgiftbalance is unbearably impossible to use. It makes
Giftcardmall look like a ready teller, much more organized in spite of its
flaws. I cannot believe I did in fact register my card over the phone
after waiting 20 minutes on hold.

finally called the number on the back of the card and registering was a
snap.
This method would be difficult for someone without a smartphone, however.
Registering online needs to be easier.

Hi I couldn’t figure out how to leave a review but this is to everyone
who’s having trouble I have been buying these cards for years and
recently like within the past year I started having a tin of trouble.
Sometimes I’d purchase a 100 dollar card for it to have no money
whatsoever on it I am pretty sure so.eone either at the factory that
makes them or at a stre in Cali was getting the numbers and stealing
the funds. It was always a huge headache but eventually they sent me
new ones to reimburse me buy it seems like ever since then it’s bee.
Harder to register them. They used to have it as an option on the phone
but now they do not and not if you call them to do they say you have to
send them proof of identity so registering them is damn near impossible
after this card I just got but can’t register I’m never buying
anymore!!!!
