Revalize Offers Powerful Tools for Foodservice A Q&A with Bryan Klann, Chief
Revenue Officer, Revalize Revalize serves dealers, designers, manufacturers and
so on. What are some of the challenges they are facing today? BK: The trends
that we are seeing globally affect various customer segments for Revalize,
including foodservice equipment and supplies. There are steep fluctuations in
demand for supplies that present challenges to both manufacturers and their
customers. All elements of business operations are affected by these changes,
from the supply of raw materials and production schedules to pricing changes and
customer quotes. These pain points are prevalent in activity within the
AutoQuotes (AQ) platform. Most notably, we have seen a record amount of monthly
pricing updates in the past two years, a trend that has only recently shown
signs of slowing down. What are some of the different ways that Revalize is
addressing users individual needs? BK: Our goal is to help Revalize customers
navigate these shifting business trends successfully. Our software is built to
facilitate this process with tools that integrate within the comprehensive AQ
platform. Manufacturers can use AQ Insight to gain visibility into their
products’ performance and uncover sales patterns impacting their revenue.
Dealers and reps can additionally benefit from tools like AQ SKU and AQ Pay to
upload data in bulk and offer flexible payment options, widening the share of
opportunities that convert into sales. Designers can connect Revalize products
are helping the foodservice industry navigate today’s tough business climate.
CAD and Revit designs to their AQ license, enabling access to more than 200,000
CAD objects and Revit families published in AQ. What are some of the unique
strengths that Revalize offers its customers in the foodservice segment that
competitors don’t? BK: As the industry-leading product database, we are confident
in AQ’s ability to mirror the industry trends we are seeing on a wider scale.
That position gives Revalize the unique opportunity to present our customers
with high-confidence solutions, both with insights and the software itself. We
are actively working on expanding access to other solutions for our FES segment.
For example, PRO.FILE and PRO.CEED are two Revalize-owned PLM/PDM tools that
help our customers boost productivity and efficiency by implementing an
engineering change management process. That software can accelerate a
manufacturer’s go-to-market strategy, directly influencing revenue forecasts. How
are you helping your customers transition from AQ to the larger suite of
services that Revalize provides? BK: We have introduced a new functional process
that gives customers access to specialized departments that ensure they receive
a valuable customer experience. Our sales representatives each focus on a set of
solutions in one region, refining their focus and allowing them to provide
customers with deep expertise on the software and an understanding of their
respective markets. Additionally, our team is continuously working on a
repository of content aimed at keeping our customers informed on the latest
market trends and tips to ensure they get the most out of their investment in
